So Fruity!

Hello there! I'm having a quiet night inside, and Bob's over his friend's house. It's been so dreary and yucky out all day. And the temperature dropped a lot! It's only 42 degrees right now. I can NOT wait until it stays warm out, and we stop going back and forth between cold and warm!
Tomorrow night I'm meeting my grandmother at Panera for dinner, on my way back from work. It'll be really nice to see her. She had been in California the last six months. She goes there about half the year usually, and rents an apartment close to where my aunt & uncle live out there. Then on Friday I'm meeting two friends for a drink after work, and Saturday is my bridal shower!
In the pictures below I'm wearing my super fruity dress that I wore on my blog once last month. I am SO obsessed with it! I reach for it time and time again. It's of course from Modcloth, ha. I wore it work on Monday and luckily no one seemed to mind it. I didn't know how my bosses would feel about my quirky, ultra colourful wardrobe. But, so far I've either gotten compliments from them on my clothes/accessories, or they haven't said anything. So, I'm taking that as a great sign! I'm happy about that, because obviously most of my wardrobe isn't "conservative/normal business wear!"

So Much Rainbow

Hello there! Last night Bob and I watched "Wolf of Wall Street." It's three hours long! But, I thought it didn't seem like it was that long; it was quite entertaining. Leonardo DiCaprio is pretty good at playing the "bad guy" in movies! Today I'm going to work out, read, and just relax.
I can't get enough of this rainbow striped Emily & Fin dress! I bought it from Modcloth in January. Modcloth had first posted it on their Instagram back in August saying that it was coming soon, and I finally found it on the site in January. I was so excited! It just screams my name, since for me this is no such thing as "too much" rainbow! I love how the combo of this dress and my ice cream shoes, they look perfect together. I of course also paired this with my rainbow Francesca's Collections necklace.

Hell Bunny Flamingos!

Hello there! I'm so glad it's the weekend. It's been hard to shut my mind off of thinking about work! So, I'm trying my best not to think about it this weekend. Last night after work I met up with my friend Ashlan for a drink. I worked with her at my last job, and she's a bridesmaid in my wedding. It's been strange not seeing her at least five days a week! It was nice to see her, and catch up more. (We had been texting a few times this week.)
I don't have many plans really for this weekend. Today I'm cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, working out, and running a couple of errands. I did a lot last weekend, so it's nice to not have much going on this weekend.
It's crazy, my wedding is just under two months away! I just can't wait for it to get here. And to go to New Orleans for a nice, long honeymoon! It's sooo hard to wait for that, ha. I'm also quite excited for the Bachelorette party. We're going to Atlantic City for a night. I haven't been to AC in two years. I'm not really into gambling, so I don't want to do that while we're there. We're just going to go out to eat for dinner, and hang out at the beach bars. One of the beach bars is right in front of the hotel we'll be at! I love hanging out at outside bars when the weather is beautiful, it's just so nice! And of course we'll have a beautiful ocean view.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Hell Bunny flamingo dress that arrived yesterday! Last weekend I looked all over online to try and find this dress in the U.S., and in my size. I finally found it on one website, Unique Vintage. It was the last one they had! Not just in my size, but in all sizes. I snatched it up right away. Luckily it fits perfectly! I loveeee it. I think it's so adorable. I really love the Hell Bunny brand. I only have one other item so far from that brand. I'm happy my pink Idas perfectly match the dress, too!
Of course it was raining last night, so I couldn't get any pictures outside. I'm going to this weekend, though. It's very sunny out today!

Whirlwind

Hello there! Well, this week has been a whirlwind really! I started my new job on Monday. So, I've made it through three days there, ha. I was quite nervous coming in Monday morning. I don't feel as nervous there now. But, I still have a lot to learn, and I just hope I will live up to everyone's expectations. I'm trying my best, that's for sure. And the days are just flying by!! That's my favourite thing about this job, as opposed to my last job; at my last job time dragged so badly, every single day. Every day at my new job is full of lots of different things to get done. No day is the same!
I feel less nervous about phone calls now. Monday I was pretty nervous to answer the phone. I didn't want to accidentally hang up on someone, or transfer a call wrong or something like that. At my last job I never had to talk on the phone. I think I talked on the phone two or three times during the almost three years I worked there! At my new job I answer multiple calls a day. Luckily, they're usually just calls where I transfer them to someone, or to someone's voicemail.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my Pin Up Girl Clothing harlequin dresses. I paid for half, and Bob paid for the other half for my Christmas present. I wore it to The Sands when we there for his birthday last Friday night and Saturday. We had a good time there! As usual the food was great at the irish restaurant in The Sands casino. I got what I ordered last time, a grilled cheese sandwich with fries. It's so flavorful! They add garlic to the bread. And there's big slices of tomato! Tomatoes are one of my favourite foods, that's for sure.

Popsicles & Ice Cream!

Hello there! Well, I had my last day of work yesterday. It's kind of surreal that my time there has now come to end, and that after graduating from college five years ago I have finally found the job I was searching for! Everyone was so nice yesterday, people I didn't even think would say anything to me, came over and wished me luck. One co-worker baked me a rainbow cake!! No one ever made me a rainbow cake before. You can see a picture of it below. My friend who I worked with (I met her there.) made me brownies, and she also gave me a sweet card and a Hello Kitty bucket filled with candy and gum.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my new Modcloth Emily & Fin popsicle dress, and my new ice cream cone Shoe Bakery flats! They both arrived yesterday. The shoes took six weeks to arrive!! I'm so glad they're finally here, I just love them. They are so adorable, and so well-made. I think I'll be getting a lot of comments on these, ha.
I also love the popsicle dress! And I think they look so cute paired together. I already had one "Too Much Fun" Emily & Fin dress from Modcloth. I love the style of them. Although this one is a little bigger in the waist, but when I put a belt on it looked a lot better.
Bob is working a half day today. After he gets back here and showers, we'll get on our way to The Sands. He's 30 years old today! So weird to think about, because he was 24 when we started dating!

Ch-ch-ch-changes!

Hello there! Well, the past three work days seemed to go by ever so slowly, but now I can't believe tomorrow is my last day already! I'm definitely ready for it. It's just going to be sad to leave my good friend who works there. (I met her there, too.) But, I know I'll be seeing a lot of her; she's a bridesmaid in my wedding! I'm going to be working in an office with a lot less people, and I think most of them are older than me. So, I don't know if I'll really make any friends there. I'm not worried about that though, my only concern is doing a good job there, and feeling comfortable.
I'm going out to lunch with a few people from work tomorrow, to the pizza place I go to every week there with my good friend. Then after work I'm going out for a drink with some people from work, too. Friday I have no work! I made my last day Thursday, so that I could have a few hours at home Friday, before Bob and I head out to The Sands (a casino) for his 30th birthday!! We're both pretty excited for it.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my newest Modcloth dress! I didn't even have to pay for it, which is SO nice. I used cash back rewards on my credit card for it. I love the cute, 50's-style print of the dress, and the pops of red and blue. It came with the belt, too.
This dress is from Modcloth's Bea & Dot line. It is their own in-house clothing line. This is my forth dress from the line, and I also have one skirt. I love most of the items in the line! So many cute, colourful, fun prints. This dress is quite tight on my chest, but luckily the buttons do button, and hopefully they stayed closed all day! The waist fits well, it's just slightly big. Since it was pouring all day/night yesterday, we took these pictures inside. Of course the lighting was pretty poor.

Admit One

Hello there! We are having another beautiful day here in NJ, going to be 79 degrees today! The highlight of my day is that "Mad Men" premieres tonight! I'm sad it's the final season though, ugh. One of my other favourite shows ended in September, "Breaking Bad." There's so few good shows on TV. We don't get HBO or Showtime either. And most of my favourite shows are on those channels- "Boardwalk Empire," "Shameless," and "Game of Thrones." Usually I have to wait on they are on DVD, and then I take them out of the library to watch.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my first Modcloth dress I purchased, over a year ago. Way back when the obsession was just in the infancy stage! I'm so glad I discovered Modcloth! I feel completly "me" in the clothes, shoes, and jewelry I order from them. And it makes me so happy to wear bright colours and funky patterns. I've always been VERY into fashion and shopping, and I've gone through a few fashion stages in my life. But, this stage feels the most "me," and makes me the happiest.

Rainbow Spiral Dress

Hello there! It's so nice to have a three day weekend this weekend, as well as next weekend. Yesterday I didn't do that much, but sometimes I don't mind that. I did do laundry, go to the library, read, and watch "12 Years A Slave" though. I'm glad I finally got to see the movie, and it was good of course. I had wanted to see it when it was in theaters, but we missed it. Now it's available On Demand, so that's how I watched it. It's so much cheaper to watch movies On Demand than to go to the movies!
Today my only plans are to clean the apartment, work out, and go to Walmart. And either today or tomorrow Bob and I are going to a local florist to pick out flowers for the altar at the church for the wedding. I think we're just going to stay in tonight, probably watch more of "The Sopranos". We're on Season 3 now.
Next weekend we're going away for a night for Bob's 30th birthday! I can't wait. We're going to a casino in Pennsylvania. I'm not sure how many of Bob's friends are meeting us there. Bob and his friends plan things very last minute, whereas I'm very much the opposite!
And let me rave a bit about this WEATHER!!!! Oh my gosh, right now I can feel the sun streaming through the blinds and it's very warm. It's only 9:20 am, too! It's supposed to be a high of seventy-one today, seventy-eight tomorrow, (!!!) and seventy-four on Monday. AND it's not supposed to rain again until Tuesday. Wow! These temperatures are perfection.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a very colourful Modcloth dress! It's from their Bea & Dot line. I currently have three dresses and one skirt from that line, as well as another dress on its way to me!
