Pink, Orange, Yellow

Hello there! Holy crap, less than 3 days until I walk down the aisle! Kind of hard to believe it's really upon us, now. Tomorrow is my last day at work until July 7. I don't have to do much tomorrow night. Friday I'm getting a mani/pedi with my mom, sister/maid of honor, and one bridesmaid. Then I'm running to the reception hall to drop off stuff like place cards. Then the rehersal is at 6 pm, at the church. After that we are having the rehersal dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant.
I started packing last night! Obviously, there's a lot of stuff I can't put in there until it gets closer, because I'll need it between now and then. But, I pretty much have it figured out what clothes, shoes, and jewelry I'll be bringing. And that's the most important part!
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Modcloth house print dress. I adore the colours in this dress! There's so much of my three fav colours: pink, orange, & yellow! I'm wearing my new rainbow popsicle earrings. I love them so much! I know I'll be wearing them all the time this summer. Bonus: they match with almost everything! I got them from Etsy. They were only $9, including shipping! I'm kind of obsessed with food jewelry, clothing, and shoes, if you hadn't noticed. Ha!

Fruit & Cake!

Hello there! We have had such gorgeous, sunny weather this weekend, after a week of dark skies and rain. Today I went to my parent's house to celebrate Father's Day. I drove my grandmother there and back, too. While I was there, I took some earrings of my mom's so that I can decide which ones to wear to the wedding! I also took one of my parent's big suitcases, so that we can bring it on our honeymoon. We're going to just check that bag, and then each carry on a small suitcase. I need plenty of room for all my dresses, shoes, jewelry, and then of course all the shopping I will do once I'm in New Orleans!
In the pictures below you can see my newly highlighted hair! (I got it coloured yesterday.) This fruit dress is absolutely one of my favourite dresses!! It's so colourful and fun!! I of course love it paired with my fruit flats. I also had to throw in a picture of my parent's Sheltie, Heidi. She's too darn cute and sweet!

Tropical Ensemble

Hello there! Today's a busy day, that's for sure. I just got my hair highlighted, so it'll look nice for the wedding. I hadn't colored it in sixteen months! So, my roots were horrendous. I'm going to clean the apartment now, and do laundry. Later on our wedding photographer is meeting with us for a bit, and then Bob and I are headed to the mall & Babies R' Us. I have to buy a gift for a baby shower.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Hell Bunny dress I got a couple weeks ago. I ordered it from Hot Topic, of all places! I hadn't shopped there in probably ten years. But, when I Googled "Hell Bunny", Hot Topic was one of the retailers that came up, so I checked it out! I had been eyeing this dress on the Hot Topic website for awhile, and finally decided to go for it, especially since it was on sale. It was only $50, included shipping. I just love the tropical print, and I think that my pineapple brooch, drink necklace, and hair flower look perfect with it!
The pictures below that I'm wearing my junk food dress, and flamingo print dress in were taken at my Bachelorette Party last weekend!

So Close Now!

Hello there! Wow, is time flying now! So...it's a week and a half until I get married! Bob and I paid for the balance of the wedding reception on Monday. That made it a lot more real! They haven't cashed my check yet, but that'll be a big old chunk taken out of my account. But, it does feel good to get these payments over with, finally. We are meeting with, and paying the balance to our photographer this coming Saturday. After that's done, our only costs are paying the DJ the balance we owe, (we're paying him at the wedding) Bob paying for the rest of his tux next week, and then of course my mani/pedi, hair, and make up.
I know the day of the wedding is just going to fly by. Which is crazy, because it took so much planning, and has so many details! And our wedding isn't elaborate AT ALL. I don't know how people have enough time and money to have a huge, elaborate wedding! Ours has been enough stress, as it is.
I had a lot of fun at the Bachelorette Party in Atlantic City, last weekend. And the weather was just amazing!! It couldn't have been more perfect weather. Sunday we got to walk along the beach, and put our feet in the (quite cold!) water, which was just lovely. There were even about 10 or so people in the water, which I couldn't believe! I have no idea how they were able to stand it, ha. On Sunday I bought a very cute and colorful cupcake pillow and a Hello Kitty cup. We were very lucky, we hit only a couple minutes of traffic on the way down, and only about fifteen minutes on the way back. Could have been A LOT worse!
This weekend is quite busy! Friday is my good friend's (and bridesmaid) 29th birthday! It's Friday the 13th, and it's a full moon, ha. We are going out dancing in Morristown. A lot of people are coming, too. I'm looking forward to it! On the way to Morristown, we are dropping off our cake toppers at the bakery that's making our wedding cake. Saturday morning the photographer is coming over, and then I'm getting highlights in my hair at a salon. Then after that I'm cleaning the apartment and doing laundry, and then probably running to the mall to look for a bandeau for my wedding dress.
Either Saturday night or Sunday we are celebrating Father's Day at my parent's house. I'm still waiting to here about that. I also need to go to Target this weekend, and am going to work out. So, there's plenty of things for me to get done!! I don't like when weekends are too jam packed, but I know that it won't be long until they won't be like that anymore.
I adore the rainbow stripe Emily & Fin dress pictured below. I don't think I could ever get sick of it! It's very flattering, and of course I just love the rainbowness of it!

Coral Pin Up

Hello there! So...it's 16 days until my wedding! And I leave for my bachelorette party on Saturday morning! I'm so very excited for the bachelorette party. We're getting an early start, leaving around 8:30 a.m. My one friend is picking me up here, my other friend is following us there, and my sister is meeting us there. (She's coming from Connecticut.) We are going to Atlantic City, staying for one night. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous down there this weekend! High of 72 on Saturday, low of 63, and sunny, with a 0% chance of rain. Sounds perfect to me!
Tomorrow I'm leaving work an hour early to meet Bob and his brother, so that we can get our wedding license!! And last night, I picked up my wedding dress from the shop. I tried it on at the shop again, and the alterations were great.
In the picture below I'm wearing a Pin Up Girl Clothing dress. I ADORE the coral colour of it! It's so lovely. I love coral as it is, but I think this is just the perfect shade of it. This dress is super tight in the bust, and just zips. The waist fits great though, which is rare for me.

Sunny Sunday

Hello there! It's another incredibly gorgeous day out! It would be nice if we could have a lot more of days like this in New Jersey. It's so sunny out, and going to be a high of 75 degrees, which in my opinion is perfection!
Today I'm not doing too much. I'm going to work out, read, and watch TV. I'm going to list another item on eBay, also. I started selling on there around February. I've sold a few items so far. I had never tried to sell anything anywhere before this. It's so easy to do, and so nice to make a little money on things I don't wear anymore!!
Yesterday I bought a few items for our honeymoon, like mini shampoo, conditioner, sunblock, etc. I also took some money out of the bank to set aside for paying our DJ. I'm trying to get a lot of things out of the way now, before we get really busy!
Last night I ended up meeting my friend for a drink at a nearby bar. I met her early in the evening, and I was home before 9. Bob will be getting back at some point in the afternoon. For dinner he's making one of my favourite meals, tomato tart! It's very similar to pizza. (And pizza is my favourite food.)
On Wednesday I'm going back to try on my dress at the shop I bought it from, and hopefully the alterations are perfect! And on Friday afternoon I'm leaving work an hour early, because Bob and I are going to get the wedding license. His brother is going to be the witness. It's exciting!!
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my four house print dresses. All of them are from Modcloth. I think these B.A.I.T. Footwear heels match my dress perfectly! I love the bright shade of blue.
