Rainbow Brite

Hello there! It's officially only one week until I am on a plane, Vegas bound! Wow! I'm so happy that it's that soon. I've been chatting with some ladies that I will be meeting up with there, and I know this Viva experience will be better than my last one, because I'll be hanging out with more lovely ladies than last time. Three of the girls I'll be seeing will be at Viva for the first time, and I'm looking forward to seeing their reactions. I've been looking up the weather forecast for while we're there, and it looks perfect. It's actually hotter there right now then it will be the whole time we're there. It's cooling down a bit just in time. The highs are supposed to range from 70-80 while we're there, which those are my ideal temperatures.
Not too much else is going on with me right now....Friday night I'm meeting a couple of my friends for a drink after work, and Sunday I'll be meeting another friend at Panera.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Emily & Fin dress I got at Modcloth a couple of years ago. I'm wearing my new Shoe Bakery flats with it, and my new popsicle brooch from Get Rich Slow Co. They have an Etsy shop. This dress is pretty darn perfect. It's so flattering, and of course I really love the rainbow stripes. I have this dress in a popsicle print, as well. The two dresses are light, and are especially great to wear in the summertime.

So Many Popsicles

Hello there! This weekend has been another sunny, gorgeous one. It was quite warm yesterday, but luckily not humid! Bob and I were thinking of going to either NYC for the day or to the shore, but opted to just go to dinner in Bethlehem. He hasn't fixed his car yet, so we didn't want to take my car all the way to the shore, since mine is pretty old. I don't like to take it on long trips, just in case something goes wrong. We decided not to go to NYC because it was supposed to be even hotter there, and we thought it would be uncomfortably hot to walk around & take the subway (it's crazy hot down where you wait for the subway!). We may not go to the city until September. We usually go at the end of September for my birthday.
I relaxed for a bit when we got back from Bethlehem, and then met my friend (who I hadn't see in awhile) at the movies at 10:30 to see "Train Wreck". I had never heard Amy Schumer's comedy before. There were some parts that were quite funny, but others that weren't. I thought it was an okay movie, and my friend didn't really like it. I hadn't been to the movies in a longggg time. Bob and I never go anymore, we just occassionally buy movies through "on demand" on our TV. The movie didn't get out until 1:00 a.m.! I haven't been out that late in forever, other than on vacation, ha.
Today's going to be a quiet one. Bob and I are staying at home. He's going to cook and bake for the coming week. Tomorrow is my sister's going away party! I can't believe how fast it came.

Call Me Rainbow Brite

Hello there! It's been such a gorgeous weekend weather wise. It's sunny out again today. Yesterday started out overcast, but much improved. We went to New Hope yesterday. We had lunch and drinks at an outside bar. Then we went and looked at the river, and then walked around a bit and went in a couple of stores. I'm trying to go on as many weekend day trips as possible this spring/summer. Two weekends from now we are going to NYC on Saturday, and staying over night. We have never done that before. We'll be celebrating our first wedding anniversary. I'm very excited for that.
Today I'm not doing that much. I'm going to work out, read, watch TV/relax, and maybe run to Target. I'm hanging out with my good friend this Thursday to celebrate her 30th birthday. Her actual birthday is next Saturday, but she is going to a wedding that day.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my rainbow stripe Emily & Fin dress from Modcloth. I got it a year and a half ago. I love it so much. It's flattering, and of course I love the print. I love pairing it with my new bright yellow B.A.I.T. Footwear Iones. They just arrived yesterday. I had waited so long for them to become available! They first showed them as "coming soon" back in I believe January, on their Instagram. About a month later I saw them on their webiste, and ordered them immediately. Well, turns out they shipped me a different shade of yellow Iones. So, I contacted them right away. They said they had made a mistake in showing the bright yellow ones as available on their site, and that they weren't actually available yet. Finally they are mine! They are just the perfect shade of sunny yellow, exactly what I wanted. I have so much to pair them with! I had recently gotten a pair of the same shade of yellow heels from B.A.I.T. Footwear, but they are open toed, and I wouldn't be able to wear them year round. These ones I can!

So Many Popsicles

Hello there! I am soooo ready for it be Friday, how about you?! Tonight I'm just staying in & relaxing with Bob, and watching "Impractical Jokers"! There's a new episode on at 10. The weather hasn't been as nice this week, as it was last weekend. But, this coming weekend is supposed to be sunny, so that's good news. I'm meeting my friend for dinner at Panera tomorrow night. After that I'm just going home & having drinks with Bob.
In the pictures below I'm wearing an Emily & Fin brand dress that I got from Modcloth a year ago. The print is just the perfect summertime print! But, that won't stop me from wearing it in the spring & fall, too. It's too darn cute of a print to only wear it during one season! The background colour is not a colour I particularly like, but it's okay, since the print is has some better colours in it! I also don't have many shoes that pair well with the dress, and after taking outfit pics in this outfit, I see that the wedges really don't match the dress, ha. Next time I'll wear black heels or my orangey BAIT Idas.

So Many Popsicles

Hello there! Last night Bob and I went out to eat at an Irish pub at a casino. It was quite good. We've eaten there a few times now. Then we had some drinks at bars in the casino, and gambled a little bit. Bob was having quite good luck. I only tried two slot machines, lost $3.75, and then stopped ha. I really hate losing money, so I always stop after losing just a little bit. Bob was up $95 at one point, but ended up leaving with $72. He's a lot more of a risktaker than I am.
Today I'm not doing too much. I'm working out, reading, watching "Downton Abbey", and I may be going to my parent's for a couple hours, but I'm still deciding that. Tonight Bob's going to have to get ready to plow/salt, and is going to salt at least one of the businesses he takes care of. I feel bad for him, I know how much he hates doing it on the weekends.
Two months from today is our Vegas vacation! We are slowly but surely making progress.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my other Emily & Fin dress. In the blog post I posted yesterday I wearing my rainbow stripe Emily & Fin dress. They're both from Modcloth. Both of the prints are so lovely, and perfect for my aesthetic/style! This print is obviously quite summery ha. I didn't actually wear it outside of the apartment the day I took pictures. It's also quite thin material, so it's not very good for winter.

Rainbow Brite

Hello there! I'm so glad it's the weekend again, and that it is the last day of January! I just hate January and February because of the winter, I just always want them to fly by.  Tonight Bob and I are going out to dinner at an Irish Pub at a casino about an hour away. We're going to have a couple drinks after dinner at the casino, too. I was going to go up to my parent's house tomorrow afternoon, but it depends on the weather. We're supposed to get snow, again. I won't be watching the Super Bowl; I have zero interest in football.
In the pictures below I am wearing quite a rainbow outfit, which makes me happy, because being colourful just brings me joy. This dress is obviously better suited for spring/summer/fall, and I didn't actually wear this outside of the apartment the day I took these pictures. It's a very thin dress, and it has been absolutely freezing out. I have this dress in a popsicle print as well. I really like the shape of the dress, and think it's quite flattering. The brand is Emily & Fin. They have some really cute prints. Modcloth has a decent selection of the brand.

Never Enough Rainbow!

Hello there! I wish this weekend would hurry up & get here already. Friday night I'm going to Panera for dinner with my good friend. I don't really have plans for the weekend yet. My mom invited me to go to some stores in Pennsylvania with her on Saturday, but I don't really feel like it. It's a long drive, and I was just out shopping in Pennsylvania two weekends ago. Tonight "American Horror Story" is on! Just hope I can stay awake to finish the whole episode.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Modcloth Emily & Fin rainbow striped dress. It's probably outrageous to most people how much rainbow I wear, but, that's not my problem ha! It makes me happy. I don't need other people to "get" the way I dress. I'm wearing my thin material/shorter dresses and skirts for as long as I possibly can take it! Luckily it hasn't been too cold lately here.

So Close Now!

Hello there! Wow, is time flying now! So...it's a week and a half until I get married! Bob and I paid for the balance of the wedding reception on Monday. That made it a lot more real! They haven't cashed my check yet, but that'll be a big old chunk taken out of my account. But, it does feel good to get these payments over with, finally. We are meeting with, and paying the balance to our photographer this coming Saturday. After that's done, our only costs are paying the DJ the balance we owe, (we're paying him at the wedding) Bob paying for the rest of his tux next week, and then of course my mani/pedi, hair, and make up.
I know the day of the wedding is just going to fly by. Which is crazy, because it took so much planning, and has so many details! And our wedding isn't elaborate AT ALL. I don't know how people have enough time and money to have a huge, elaborate wedding! Ours has been enough stress, as it is.
I had a lot of fun at the Bachelorette Party in Atlantic City, last weekend. And the weather was just amazing!! It couldn't have been more perfect weather. Sunday we got to walk along the beach, and put our feet in the (quite cold!) water, which was just lovely. There were even about 10 or so people in the water, which I couldn't believe! I have no idea how they were able to stand it, ha. On Sunday I bought a very cute and colorful cupcake pillow and a Hello Kitty cup. We were very lucky, we hit only a couple minutes of traffic on the way down, and only about fifteen minutes on the way back. Could have been A LOT worse!
This weekend is quite busy! Friday is my good friend's (and bridesmaid) 29th birthday! It's Friday the 13th, and it's a full moon, ha. We are going out dancing in Morristown. A lot of people are coming, too. I'm looking forward to it! On the way to Morristown, we are dropping off our cake toppers at the bakery that's making our wedding cake. Saturday morning the photographer is coming over, and then I'm getting highlights in my hair at a salon. Then after that I'm cleaning the apartment and doing laundry, and then probably running to the mall to look for a bandeau for my wedding dress.
Either Saturday night or Sunday we are celebrating Father's Day at my parent's house. I'm still waiting to here about that. I also need to go to Target this weekend, and am going to work out. So, there's plenty of things for me to get done!! I don't like when weekends are too jam packed, but I know that it won't be long until they won't be like that anymore.
I adore the rainbow stripe Emily & Fin dress pictured below. I don't think I could ever get sick of it! It's very flattering, and of course I just love the rainbowness of it!

So Much Rainbow

Hello there! Last night Bob and I watched "Wolf of Wall Street." It's three hours long! But, I thought it didn't seem like it was that long; it was quite entertaining. Leonardo DiCaprio is pretty good at playing the "bad guy" in movies! Today I'm going to work out, read, and just relax.
I can't get enough of this rainbow striped Emily & Fin dress! I bought it from Modcloth in January. Modcloth had first posted it on their Instagram back in August saying that it was coming soon, and I finally found it on the site in January. I was so excited! It just screams my name, since for me this is no such thing as "too much" rainbow! I love how the combo of this dress and my ice cream shoes, they look perfect together. I of course also paired this with my rainbow Francesca's Collections necklace.
