Never Enough Rainbow

Hello there! Tonight I'm not doing too much, just reading and relaxing with Bob. Yesterday I made an appointment with a make up artist for a make up trial for my wedding. She's coming over in 2 1/2 weeks to do it. I'm excited, she seems really great from the pictures I've seen of her work!
My Modcloth order came today: a rainbow striped dress and red one piece bathing suit! I love them both. I first spotted the rainbow dress on Modcloth's Instagram back in August, and kept checking the site for its arrival. I never saw it under new arrivals, but recently I typed "rainbow" in their sitewide search, and to my surprise this dress came up! I ordered it right away. It's my first Emily and Fin brand purcahse. I think it fits well, and I of course love the rainbow stripes! I paired it with rainbow jewelry as well, because for me, there is never enough rainbow!
The bathing suit also fits well, and I love the retro, ruched style of it. I want it in other colours, too. I've always had such a hard time find bathing suits that fit me up top. I ordered it on sale, so I'm going to try to wait until there's a sale agai, before I order more. I'm taking this one on my honeymoon.

Literary Dress

Hello there! Last night we didn't end up going to Brew Works, because of the weather. Luckily, Bob didn't have to plow, but he did have to go out and salt a few places. We did go out to eat at Friendly's in town, and later on I met up with my friend (She's also one of my bridesmaids.) at a bar in town. Today I'm going to work out, and later on Bob and I are going to Kohl's to make our registry! I'm looking forward to that. Out of all the decisions we have to make for the wedding, this is probably the most fun one, and least stressful! :) A couple of my bridesmaid's gifts arrived on Saturday, and I'm very happy with them! I especially love the one item I'm giving to my sister, it turned out great.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing my only Bernie Dexter dress...I need more! She makes dresses out of the cutest patterns. This one is so fabulous though. I just adore wearing it. It's so "me." There's so many colours, and it has books all over it! I've always been a HUGE reader, and I have an English degree!
First I had on a pink, orange, and yellow bracelet in the pictures, but then I realized my rainbow bracelet matched with the dress, so I put that on instead! I wear that bracelet with as much as possible! I love the pastel-ish shades of it. And I just loveee wearing B.A.I.T. shoes! I've also been pairing them with as much as possible. I have four pairs now, and they are coming out with new styles next week on their website. I can't wait! All these stores/websites have been teasing us, saying they're coming out with spring items soon, and showing pictures of some of the upcoming items.

Cherry On Top!

Hello there! Tonight Bob and I were supposed to go to Brew Works with some friends. (It's a restaurant in Pennsylvania.) But, we are watching the weather closely, because he'll have to salt and/or plow, if there's enough snow. And we're not going to want to drive out there anyway if it's bad out. It's an hour away.
I'm so OVER the snow!! We've had enough already. And one storm a week is more than enough! (We already had a storm on Tuesday.) I really hope he doesn't have to plow, more so for his sake than my own. I just feel bad he'd have to give up a weekend day.
I ordered a red one piece retro-style bathing suit from Modcloth this week. It was on sale, and I didn't want to miss buying it at a cheaper price! I've been eyeing their retro-style one pieces for awhile now, but didn't want to drop that kind of money on it. I only have one bathing suit that fits correctly, so I really do need more. I'll be taking them on my honeymoon in five months!
Bob and I met with my pastor on Thursday night, and we have to go again in two weeks. We had taken a survey online before we met with him, per his instructions. We took it separately, and then my pastor got the results, and got to see how are as a couple...our strengths, weaknesses, etc. He told us we did very well on the survey. (He gave us the detailed results, too.) Because we did so well, we won't have to meet with more than two more times. We also talked about the wedding day, and how it's going to proceed in the church.
We're also going to be starting our wedding registries this weekend. That's fun at least! I think we're just going to do them online. There is a Kohl's that's only a few minutes from where we live, and I was thinking of going there today with Bob, to make a registry. But, because of the snow...I don't think it's possible.
My new cherry Luxulite necklace arrived from England yesterday! I already had one brooch from this seller. (She's on Etsy.) She's very talented, and makes such gorgeous pieces. I have my eye on another brooch. The necklace pairs perfectly with my cherry Pin Up Girl Clothing Heidi dress. My red B.A.I.T. heels also pair so nicely with this dress.

Junk Food

Hello there! I'm greatly enjoying my Monday off of work for MLK day. I slept in a little, until 8:00. Bob's working today, he doesn't get off as many holidays as I do, since he works for his father. (And doens't work in an office.) I don't mind spending time alone though.
Yesterday we bought our wedding rings at the mall. I have to go back to pick mine up in a couple weeks, since I needed a smaller size than the display one. We got to leave with Bob's ring though. I was glad we spent less money on them than I had budgeted for them. And instead of buying a bra with a low back, (which is VERY hard to find!) I was able to buy something from Victoria's Secret which you attach to your bra, and it lowers the back of your bra. Hopefully it lowers it enough to work with my weddig dress! My dress is at my parent's house, so I can't try it out just yet. But, I'm crossing my fingers!
We also went to the movies yesterday, and saw "Nebraska." I still have a gift card to the movies, so I got to go for free, and I still have money on the gift card to pay for another ticket. The movie was good, it was pretty funny. It just moved kind of slowly.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my absolute favourite dresses. I don't wear it outside in the winter, as it's one of my shorter dresses. But, it was nice to put it on again, indoors. I got it in September from Modcloth, and have worn it on the blog a few times. I hesitated for months before ordering the dress, but I'm so very glad I took the plunge! I was hesitant because I thought the print might be just too bold, but I love how it looks, and people can stare if they choose, but that's their issue ha.
I'm wearing my new B.A.I.T. red heels again. (I wore them in the last post, too.) I adore them, and they're definitely going to match with a lot of my dresses and skirts. I love getting good wear out purchases. They're a perfect shade of cherry red.

New Modcloth Purchases!

Hello there! I'm just going to be relaxing this morning, and in the early afternoon I'll be going to the mall, Panera, and movies with Bob. It's so nice not to have to dread Monday, since I have off for MLK day!
Yesterday my Modcloth purchases came! Lately I hadn't been seeing too much on the website that I really loved. But, I had to have this skirt and B.A.I.T. heels! (I'm wearing them in the pictures below.) I love how colorful the skirt is, even though the colours aren't that bright. The fabric used to make the skirt is from a line of fabric by Thomas Knauer, and I have dresses made out of other fabric from the line. It's such a fun, colorful line! I love almost all of it. Luckily, since this past summer Modcloth has been using a lot of fabric from the line. I also ordered fabric from that line from eBay this summer, and my mom made me two dresses out of it.
The skirt has words all over it, and the words are things that go on at fairs/carnivals, like bumper cars, skee ball, prizes, cotton candy, etc. And I adore the buttons! They're adorable. The skirt is big on me, but with a belt over it, it should work fine. Maybe I'll eventually have my mom take it in for me.
I now have four pairs of B.A.I.T. shoes. And I really want the aqua colour pair that's on their website. I hope it comes to Modcloth soon, it's cheaper to order them from Modcloth. I love that the heel is so small on them, it makes them so easy to wear for everday occassions.

Blue & Lime

Hello there! Ahh the lovely weekend has come back around again, this time it's a three day one, which makes me VERYYY happy! Last night I had some drinks at the apartment, and watched "The Office" with Bob. His friend came over for for awhile, and he worked on our computer. It's been running slowly for a long time, and his friend is really good with fixing computers. I can see a difference today. That was really nice of him to do that for us.
Yesterday my veil pattern came in! My mom's going to make my veil next month. I'm so lucky that she's very helpful, and a talented seamstress! Also a pair of heels came in yesterday. I ordered them as my possible wedding shoes...and, I LOVE them! They seem like they'll be comfortable, which is very important. They got a lot of good reviews online: a lot of people said they were comfortable. I think they're really cute too. I sent pictures of them to my bridesmaids, and they all liked them. So, I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping them! I might look at heels a little bit tomorrow at the mall, in the off chance I see anything I really love, but I doubt I'll find better ones, and at a good price.
I hope we find our wedding rings tomorrow, as well as a bra for my wedding dress. I want to get those two things out of the way. I want to get as many items out of the way now as I possibly can. I don't want to be stressing at the last minute! I know the time is going to go really fast, the closer we get. It even sounds pretty close now, to say it's five months away.
Today I don't have many plans. Bob is going to his parents later on, to work on brewing beer with his brother. I'm going to clean the aparment, do laundry, work out, and call my grandmother. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, to go to the mall and movies with Bob. We're seeing "Nebraska."
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my favourite casual outfits. I love the pairing of this shade of bright blue with lime green. And I adore this necklace! I wish I had more to wear it with. The colours are so exceptional in it, so nice and bright.
