The dress I'm wearing in the pictures below I also have in pink, in a short sleeve version. (I wore the pink version in a recent blog post.) I love these dresses. They're perfect for work, and they're flattering. This has to be my favourite shade of red. Red is a great colour, and I think it probably looks best on me, of all the colours.
Bob and I are almost done with Season 2 of Breaking Bad. I've been taking DVD TV series out of the town library. It's so great to be able to watch them for free! We're really into Breaking Bad. It's definetly addicting, ha. I know the final season starts up in August. So, hopefully we will be done watching the previous seasons by the time that comes on.
We went in the pool last night for a little while. It was great! The water was warm. And there weren't too many people there. I can't wait til we get to swim in the ocean!

Hello there! Well, the two worst days of the work week are over with. So, that's some progress! Ha. It's been super hot and sunny here, as of late. Hopefully tonight Bob and I will take a dip in the pool again. I took a risk by straightening my hair yesterday. Wasn't sure if it would hold up at all, even in just the very short time I was outside. (Walking to and from my car, and taking these pics.) But, luckily it mostly did. It was flipping out a bit more than I'd like, on my right side.
I can't wait for the weekend! Saturday morning we are heading to Connecticut to visit my sister.
The shirt in the pictures below I also have in a 3/4 version, with a twist front. I REALLY love this zig zag print. Love the colours in it of course, but also just the pattern itself. I like the arm shoulder cut outs on the shirt as well. So, I have this shirt in two versions, these sandals in three colours, and the shorts I have in six colours! Can you tell that I love buying things in multiples? Ha.

Yesterday, I bought a necklace at Francesca's Collections. I ran into the mall for a few minutes. I wanted to buy a top at Macy's too, but resisted.
The outfit in the pictures below is pretty basic, but my accessories really pop next to it. The necklace and the earrings really match! The necklace is the one I bought yesterday. I love that it has coral in it, as do my earrings. Coral's such a lovely colour.
Yesterday, my mom and I got the pattern, zippers, and thread for my two dresses she'll be making. Can't wait for them to be done!
Bob and I also took a dip in the pool at our complex for a little bit yesterday. First time we've been in there this summer. I tried to go with my friend last week, but it was closed early for some reason. And it rained another day when I was going to go with Bob. The water felt so great yesterday. It was sunny all day for once!

Hello there! Happy Sunday.
In the pictures below, that's my hair right before my haircut. So, in the next post I'll have shorter hair!
Here is yet again another pink dress. Ha. This one is from Express. I got it over three years ago. I wear it with a bolero, because it has such thin straps, and I don't like my bra straps showing. I love the band that's at the top of my waist. It's definetly flattering.
I paired the dress with my rainbow wedges. They're so pretty and cheery, and of course match with a lot! And they are comfy. Even though they're about five inches high.
Yesterday, Bob's friend's party was fun. A lot of people were there. I did go swimming for a little while. It wasn't super hot out, although it was humid. So, after being in there a bit I did get a little cold. But, it wasn't awful or anything. There were a couple girls there who I hung out with the whole time. Thank God for them, because Bob was off being a social butterfly ha.
I'm heading out soon to go pick out a pattern or patterns, with my mom, for the dresses she'll be making me! :) Today's just going to be a relaxing day. Next weekend we'll be in Connecticut visiting my sister, and then the following weekend we are leaving for vacation in Virginia Beach! I'm beyond excited for that. It's two weeks from today!

Hello there!
I wanted to take pictures outside again, but couldn't because it was once again raining. It's been cloudy/threatening to rain for days now. Sometimes the sun pokes through, but not for too long. Bob and I were going to go swimming in the pool last night, and then walk to Applebee's for drinks last night too, but couldn't do either because of the rain. (We did drive to Applebee's though.)
Today, I'm cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, working out, getting my hair cut, and then going to Bob's friend's birthday party. Hopefully the rain isn't constant today, so I can go swimming at his friend's!
In the pictures below, I'm wearing my new Ann Taylor belt! I love it the little fish buckle, I think it's so cute. I love all the colours in the belt/buckle, too. I have this dress in three colours. It's so comfy; it's a strechty material. When I was at Bob's cousin's wedding last month, two girls there were wearing this dress! (In different colours than hot pink though.)

Hello there! It's finally Friday. Today at work we're having ice cream sundaes! So, that's a little something to look forward to. Also, every Friday for lunch, I get pizza with my work friends. It's the best part of the work week, ha. I bring my lunch to work Monday-Thursday.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing a dress from Ann Taylor. I also have this dress in a bright red, and with 3/4 sleeves. I love both of them! They're comfy, and I love the style of them, with the side tie. I wear both of those dresses to work. They're perfect for an office environment. I can't wait to wear the red one at Christmas time next year! (I got it for Christimas this past year.)
I'm wearing my new lollipop earrings, my mom picked them up for me at a folk festival. I love them! They're so bright, and so me. The bracelet I'm wearing was a gift from Bob for our four year anniversary. It matches my outfit well.
Last night, I ordered two different fabrics, for my mom to make me dresses out of! One is pink with ice cream cones, and one is red with rainbow coloured pinwheels. They're both so cute, and I can't wait until the dresses are done! I think my mom's going to teach me how to make dresses, too. But, I don't have my own sewing machine...and, I don't want to spend the money on one yet. But, it would be good to learn!

It had been sunny out, but when we went outside to take the pictures below, of course it was all cloudy. So, they're not too bright. This is my new sleeveless top that I got from Marshall's on Sunday, for $15. It's Cable & Gauge brand, which is one of my favourite shirt brands. They make so many bright, unique patterns/prints. I love this print. So many great colours in it! I have to wear a belt with it, in order to make it look flattering on me. Without the belt, it's shapeless at my waist.
Tonight, my friend's coming over, and we'll be going to the pool! Just hope it doesn't rain by then. I haven't been in the pool here yet this summer.
