A Coral Dress

Hello there! So glad that this work day is over with, and I can relax. I ran to the library on my way home, and got a book out, and some DVDs and magazines. I especially love taking "People" magazine out of the library! It's so nice to not have to pay for it, or for books. I almost never buy books. I get some for Christmas, from the library a lot, and my grandmother lends them to me as well.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Pin Up Girl Clothing Harley dress. The colour they call it on the website is peach, but I find it to be more of a coral. Which is what I was hoping it would look like in person! I just love coral so much, and it's obviously a bright shade than peach is. And I'm clearly all about wearing bright colours/patterns! This dress JUST fits my chest. They didn't have the next size up available, so I took a chance and got this one. And I was so happy it zipped all the way up! Although, it is a bit tough to zipper it towards the top ha. Don't mind the disgusting dirty looking snow in the pictures! I'm so glad it's almost all melted away. How nice to see grass!
I really need to get a petticoat! I have my eye on a Hell Bunny one on the Modcloth website. And I've heard good things about it from some ladies. I really should order it very soon. I think a petticoat would look great with this dress. I've never tried one in my life.

A Bowl Of Cherries

Hello there! Yesterday I worked from home, they told us Thursday afternoon that we wouldn't be open on Friday because of the snow. I believe that's the first time they've ever closed for snow, since I've been there. It ended up snowing about five inches, but it was also windy, with bitterly cold temperatures. I'm seriously sick and tired of seeing snow, and being freezing. It's just depressing.
My mom and I were going to pick up my wedding dress last night, but we changed it to tomorrow, because of the weather yesterday. I'll be trying it on there, paying the balance on it, and I really hope I don't need much alteration to it! I don't think I will. If I don't need much alteration, my mom said she can do it for me. So, that's great!
Today I'm going to be doing the normal tasks I do on Saturdays, like cleaning, laundry, and working out. Other than that, I think I'll just be baking chocolate oatmean cookies, and staying in and relaxing. This weather really makes me not want to go out! I was thinking of going to Cheesecake Factory with Bob, but I decided not to go today. He's going to make a tomato tart for us! I'm excited, it tastes amazing. It tastes very similar to pizza. And we had pizza last night, ha. I can't get enough of it.
We sent out almost all of our wedding invitations! I'm glad to have that out of the way.
My Pin Up Girl Clothing order came on Thursday, and I couldn't be happier with both the dress and the skirt. I wasn't completly sure that I'd love that dress, because it has a black background, and I'm not too into black, although I do have one other dress with a black background. But, the dress fits great, and is very flattering! I love how it looks. And the cherries are very vibrant and cute. The dress has a little bit of room in it, which is nice. The other dress I have from there (harlequin print) is tight, but that's how it's supposed to fit.
I love the colours in the skirt! It has my favourite colors in it: pink, orange, and yellow.
I spent the rest of my Christmas money yesterday, when I ordered another dress and skirt from Pin Up Girl! Well, I also spent $30 over the money I got for Christmas, but that's not so bad, ha. Plus, I wanted to get free shipping, since I hate paying for shipping, so I had to spend over a certain amount to get it.

Happy New Year!

Hello there! Happy New Year! Last night Bob and I had a couple drinks at Applebee's, and then went to a friend's apartment for a party. It was a lot of fun. This new year will be a great one, since we'll be married in less than six months! And we've already been engaged for five months, I can't believe it!
Today two of our friends are coming over for dinner. (They're a couple.) It's going to be so good! We're going to have a turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, peas, and cranberry sauce. One of my very favourite meals. I'm so lucky to have a man who loves to cook! And that's he such a great cook.
In the pictures below I'm wearing an Ann Taylor dress. I also have it in red, but with 3/4 sleeves. They are really great dresses for work and special occasions. I wore the red one on Christmas Eve. I think they're quite flattering, and that's reflected in the name of the dresses. They're called "Miracle Dresses." I love this shade of pink as well. It's a nice, bright, vivid shade. I wear these black heels a lot. They're comfortable, and a good height. (About three inches.) I have the same heels in a dark red and bright pink also.
All this time off from work has been great! But, I just can't believe how fast it's been going. That's always the way, isn't it? At least I just have to go back for two days, and then I'll have two more days off! Bob and I may be going to Cheesecake Factory on Saturday. I'm making up my mind if I want to do that, or if I want him to make a tomato tart. He said it's up to me. So, either way it's going to be yummy!
Friday night my mom and I are picking up my wedding dress! I hope it fits well. It's a size up from the sample I tried on in the store.

Hello, Cupcake

Hello there! Yay, we're leaving in a little while to head to Chriskindlmarkt! The only downside to today is that it's very cold out. We had a couple decent days, weather-wise. But, today the temperature dropped a lot.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my cupcake dress that I got with some of my birthday money. It's just so adorable. I'm wearing one of my new cropped cardigans with it. I got three cropped cardigans from eBay. They're originally from Old Navy. I wasn't sure if they would fit, since I vary in size greatly with shirts. So, I crossed my fingers and ordered! Luckily they fit great. And they were very cheap! Including shipping it was $18 for all three. They are on the thin side, but I had a feeling they would be, since I have an Old Navy cardigan and it also is thin. That's okay though; I'm just glad to finally have bright coloured cropped cardigans! I've looked everywhere for them.

Retro Polka Dots

Hello there! Ahh, the two worst days of the week are over with, so I'm happy about that! It flurried a little bit early this morning, but luckily nothing stuck on the roads. I'm not doing much tonight; I ran to Target after work, going to read more of "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" and watch "The Biggest Loser." Target has all their Christmas stuff out now. I love looking at all of it!
I'm looking forward to Saturday night! My parents are coming over for dinner, and Bob's cooking us all dinner. He's making penne Vodka! That's one of my favourite meals that he cooks. My mom said she's never had it before. That's pretty hard to believe.
Next weekend Bob and I are going to the famous Christmas market in Bethlehem, PA. I can't wait! We went together last year, too. And I'm sure my mom took me when I was little. Bethlehem is such a nice town, with a lot of stuff to do there and in that area.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress that my mom is giving me for Christmas! I was just trying on the dress to make sure it fit me, and luckily it fit great! I was worried that the buttons on the chest would gape, but they are fine. She ordered it from Amazon, and the brand is Hell Bunny. I've never had any clothing of that brand before. They make such cute, retro style dresses!

Ticket To Wednesday

Hello there! Well, hump day work day is all done with now, so that's some real progress with this week! I'm very much looking forward to next weekend, when Bob and I are going to The Sands hotel & casino to celebrate our five year anniversary! But, this weekend should be fun too. On Saturday I'm headed to some Christmas shops in PA with my mom, and then going to a Halloween costume party at night, where I'll be debuting my Candyland outfit!
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress I've worn multiple times on my blog before. It's one of my very favourites! Of course one of the main reasons I love it so much is that is rainbow coloured. I paired it with brand new items. The heels came today, they're Nine West. The cropped cardigan I bought at Kohl's this weekend, and the necklace I received from Modcloth yesterday. After these last purchases I'm all done spending my birthday money!

My Kind Of Pie

Hello there! I actually didn't buy any clothes/accessories at the mall yesterday. But, I got a Christmas Hello Kitty beanie baby, and an ice cream Christmas ornament. (There are pictures below of those two.)
Today my only plans are to work out, return shoes to Marshall's, go to Kohl's, and my mom is stopping by for a bit in the early afternoon. Marshall's is a two minute drive away, so it's very convenient to go there! Bob and I don't usally do much at all on Sundays.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress I've worn on the blog before. It's definitely one of my favourites! I really love the shape of it, and of course the pie print. I like pairing it with red accents, like the belt and shoes. I picked up this navy cropped sweater at Marshall's last night, for only $17! I have been looking everywhere for cropped cardigans! They have been very elusive. In my opinion, they look better with dresses than the regular full length cardigans.

Get Your Kicks Along Route 66

Hello there! Tonight's going to be pretty relaxing. Bob and I just finished eating dinner and taking pictures. It wasn't very bright outside when we took these, so the lighting of the pictures suffered.
I'm really looking forward to heading to Bridgewater Mall with Bob on Saturday! I haven't been to that mall in months, probably not since the end of December. My mom is stopping by the apartment on Sunday for a little bit. Those are my only plans for the weekend.
My new Modcloth dress arrived today. I had gotten it with a gift card from Bob for my birthday. It fits great! I love the cute Route 66 print on it. I LOVE to travel, so this dress is perfect for me, with all the quirky pictures of places along Route 66. I thought the thick red belt paired well with the dress.
