Hello there! So glad it's Thursday, and we are inching closer to the weekend! On Saturday, Bob and I are heading to his cousin's house for a housewarming party for them. Hope it'll be nice out, so we can hang out outside! It really has cooled down here the past few days. It's nice to have no humidity again!
I'm planning on checking out a bakery in my town on Saturday morning. I know they make wedding cakes. So, hopefully they have good prices, and can make what I have in mind! (Hint: LOTS of colour!)

Hello there! Today I cleaned the apartment, did laundry, worked out, ran a couple last minute errands, packed some more, and we went to dinner with Bob's family.
I can't believe it's finally here already, and we are leaving tomorrow! It's so great to be able to say that, and even better- to simply be away from work for nine days. It's a very freeing feeling. Vacations ALWAYS fly by so crazy fast, so I have to really try and savor each day, and make the most of everything. I am simply grateful that we are able to afford trips like this.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts. I got it at TJ Maxx for I think $17. I love the cowl neck, and the colourblocking of my two fav colours. It's just all around a great shirt! Of course it matches perfectly with my new pink, orange, and aqua necklace.
The first picture below is of a pillow I bought at Home Goods yesterday. I really love it! It has so many colours in it, which of course is something that catches my eye!

Hello there! Well, the weekend has rolled around again. How lovely! Today, my sister, Bob, and I are headed to New Hope. Bob and I haven't been since mid March. Just gonna walk around, go in the shops, and get a drink at one of the outdoor bars. I love sitting outside and eating/drinking in the warm, sunny weather! Nothing better than that. Honestly, is there anything better than a sunny summer weekend??! Not in my book! And my sister's never been to New Hope, so that'll be nice to show her around. She's heading back up to Connecticut tomorrow.
My hair is quite frizzy in these pictures!! But, it's been that way for awhile ha. It's just been insanely humid here!
I love this pink skirt. I got it at Express about three years ago. I love the shade of pink, and the shape/style of the skirt. And the length is perfect. I love Express's banded skirts, I've tried on banded skirts at other stores, and they just didn't look as good. This one is nice and soft, too. I think it looks great paired with a black tank. And of course I just love to wear my rainbow wedges. So, I paired them with this outfit.

In the pictures below, I am wearing a dress I've had for about three years. I love it! It's still one of my favourites. It has my fav colours in it- pink & orange. I love the shape of it too, it's very flattering. And these heels are my favourite pair of heels! They ae pink, orange, and red. I got them a few months ago in Macy*s. I only paid $18! I think they look great paired with this dress. I wanted to take pictures outside, but it's raining again!
I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go visit my sister in Connecticut. I haven't gone up there to see her since she graduated college, two years ago. She lived in Nantucket for a few months after that, then came home for a few months, and then moved back to Connecticut over a year ago. So, it should be a nice little get away. I'll be back on Sunday. I love exploring new places. And we'll be going shopping, of course! Ha.

Hello there! I had a package arrive today from Modcloth. :) A dress I've been very eagerly awaiting! It's lovely. It has my favourite colours in it, and I think the design is adorable. I really like the shape of the dress, too. The only problem is, that it's too loose at the waist. But, I'll have to wear it with my thick black belt in order to make it look good. I have so many shoes and accessories that I can match with it, so that's great. This is my THIRD dress with a house print on it, ha! But, I LOVE all three of them. I love unique, funky, bright prints.
I want to wear it to work tomorrow! When I get something new that I love, I always want to rock it right away ha. I'll just wear it with my pink bolero to work, so I'm more covered.
It's so hot in our apartment! I'm sure my hair is going to look quite frizzy in the pictures I post below, ha. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about that, unfortunatly.
Dinner's in the oven- I can't wait to eat. Bob cooked grilled chicken with broccoli, peas, and tomatos. So yum! He cooks it once a week, he does it for me because I need at least one healthy homemade dish a week! There's always enough for me to have leftovers the next night, which is great.

Hello! What a beautiful day out it is. The sun is really shining, and it feels even warmer than it is! No rain is in the forecast for the next few days, either. I worked out, did laundry, baked Funfetti cookies, and ran some errands so far today. I went to Target, (of course!!) picked up a couple of essentials. I also got a simple pink tank. (to pair with black shorts) It was only sale for $7, and I already have it in orange, blue, and black. They are flattering tanks, and a good length to pair with shorts. I also got a pair of RAINBOW striped sunglasses! They are perfection, and sooo very me! They make me happy just to look at them. I had seen them there before, but didn't feel like spending the money on them at the time. They were only $12.99 though, so when I saw them still there today, I couldn't resist!
The shirt I've been wearing today is fab. I bought it probably about six months ago. It has great shades of pink and orange, I love the style of it, and it's flattering! It's one of my fav purchases I've ever made from TJ Maxx. It was either $17 or $20, not bad at all. I got a compliment on it at the post office, ha. Also got complimented on my neon pink satchel!
