Hello there! Well, I'm still freezing my butt off here in New Jersey. Right about now 35 degrees sounds like heaven. Isn't that pathetic?? Since it's been so disgusting out, I've got warm vacations on my mind as of late!! I've been thinking more about our Nashville trip in May and Tiki Oasis trip in August.
We haven't booked anything for either trip yet, but I definitely want to get things booked for Nashville VERY soon! If it were up to me, we'd already have something booked for it, but Bob doesn't like doing things too much in advance...which is just one of the ways in which we are quite different! Hopefully by this weekend we will book the Nashville hotel at least. One of the hotels right by the Nashville Palace actually booked up months ago already!
In spite of the fact that it's now been two weeks into winter, I am glad for one thing: it's staying lighter out longer! In my opinion, that's the only positive thing about getting further into winter.
This Friday night I'll be going to Panera for dinner with Bob, my dad & grandmother, and Saturday I'll be meeting a friend for lunch. Other than that, I don't have much else going on this week as of now, which is fine, as I really dread going out at all in this weather.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my Bernie Dexter palette Kelly dresses. This is my favorite of the two, and although it's the same size as the other, it does fit me better. This is absolutely one of my favorite and most worn Bernie dresses. I got it as soon as it was released, about a year ago. I love that these bright green BAIT shoes match so well with the green in the dress.

Hello there! It's a beautiful sunny day here, and going to be warm. Bob and I are going to a family dinner at my parent's house tonight. My mom's making turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, etc. So, it'll be like a mini Thanksgiving dinner, ha. She also baked a triple layer chocolate cake with chocolate icing for dessert; we're having it for my grandfather's birthday. She makes it for all the family birthdays, and it's everyone's favorite. It's extremly rich, as you may have been able to tell from the description. She even mailed a piece to my sister for her bday in January, ha!
In the pictures below I'm wearing my newest Bernie dress. I have three Bernies with paint palette prints, and I really love each of them. I think I can safely say this is my favorite of the three though. I wore it to work on Thursday, and wore it last night to meet my friend at Panera. I love pairing it with these bright blue BAIT Roni heels. The blue in these heels almost exactly matches the blue in the dress. I get a lot of compliments on these shoes.
They're so darn comfortable, too.
I almost always pair my Lillian Madison Designs paint palette brooch with my paint palette dresses, because there's nothing like a good theme, am I right?

Hello there! It's a pretty typical Sunday for Bob and me; we're staying home all day, and doing a lot of relaxing, although he does cook a lot on Sundays, too, to get ready for the week ahead. So, I'll be doing more relaxing than him, ha!
Christmas is only ONE week away now! On Christmas Even I'll be going to church and going out to dinner with Bob's family, and most likely sleeping over my parents' house that night. I'll be staying all day at my parents' on Christmas, and Bob will come over in the late afternoon, and then we'll go back home that night. I also have a board meeting to go to this Wednesday, but that's all I have going on this week so far.
I'm very much looking forward to having a lot of time off of work. The Friday after Christmas my mom and I are going out to Adamstown, PA, where there are tons of antique malls. I've been there with Bob a couple of times, but he doesn't like to go there very often. My parents love to go though, and used to drag me and my sister there when we were young. The times I went with Bob I wasn't on the hunt for antique Christmas items or Pyrex, so when I go that Friday, it'll be a whole other experience. I know they have a lot of Christmas items, as well as Pyrex.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Bernie Dexter paint palette print Kelly dress that I got about a year ago. I love this print, and the color palette is a bit unexpected, but I love how much orange is in it! A print that features a lot of orange can be hard to find, but it's one of my favorite colors. My Lillian Madison Designs brooch is the perfect accessory for this dress, along with my palette earrings I picked up from Thirteen Vintage!
