Hello there! So glad that the weekend has arrived! Last night I didn't do much. I went to Hallmark, Target, and Kohl's. I bought some Christmas presents, which makes me happy. I'm done shopping for my mom and grandmothers, and I bought some of Bob's presents, and am mostly done with my sister. I was glad that Target has alot of Christmas stuff out now! Last time I went they just had a tiny bit. I love their Christmas section! I just love Target in general, ha. It's one of my favourite stores, and it always has been.
Today I'm doing the normal Saturday tasks of cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, and working out. I'm also going to make chocolate oatmeal cookies! They are one of my all time favourite cookies. I might run to the mall later on, too. There's a sweater at Express that I really like it when I tried it on last weekend, and I didn't want to spend the money at the time.
I don't have plans for tonight. Bob's going to a bar with some friends, it's about forty-five minutes away. I don't feel like going, and plus none of my friends will be there.
In the pictures below I'm wearing another dress that my mom just finished maing for me! In my last post, which was on Thursday I was also wearing a dress my mom made me. This is the perfect dress for Christmastime! The print is just adorable. I really love gingerbread houses, so this material was meant for me.
I really hate winter weather, but I love Christmas. So, I am looking forward to Christmas getting closer, but definitely not to the weather getting even colder! I'm going to start wearing this dress right after Thanksgiving. I'm also going to decorate our apartment on Black Friday! Can't wait for that.
And I can't wait to make lots of Christmas cookies! My mom is the absolute QUEEN of baking Christmas cookies. I can't even come close to that, ha. She started making dough for them last night. She loves to give them away to family and friends, and everyone always raves about them. I brought some into work once and got a lot of compliments for my mom, which didn't surprise me!

Hello there! Ahh, so close to the weekend now. Tonight Bob and I went to my great uncle's house for a little while, and my parents met us there. He lives only five minutes from us. My mom gave me two dresses that she just finished making for me, she also brought a dress with her that she's giving me for Christmas, I wanted to try it on and make sure it fit me. I love all three of the dresses! The dresses she made me look so great, she always does a perfect job with them. I'm lucky! It saves a lot of money too.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of the dresses that my mom just finished making for me! I already had a pie print dress from Modcloth, except that the background is light blue, the colours of the pies are a bit different, and also the shape of the dress itself is different. I really love both of them though. Also, as seen below, I can't stop wearing my new fruit flats! And this cropped red cardigan has been getting a lot of use. It goes with so many of my dresses.

Hello there! Tonight I went to Panera with some friends that I worked with at my previous job. It was nice to see them. There's one woman in particular who I'm the closest with of the group, and it was really nice to get to talk to her in person. I see her once a month or month and a half usually; she's pretty busy. She has such great energy, and is really funny and outgoing, she puts me in a good mood just being around her. It's just easier being friends with women older than me (in general.) For the most part they are more mature and responsible than women my own age, and know how to be a better friend. Of course this isn't true of all older women!
In the pictures below I'm again wearing my new fruit flats! I never want to take them off, they're just so darn perfect. If they matched with more of my outfits, I'd wear them even more! And I never get tired of wearing this pie print dress, it's also perfection.

Hello there! Today I'll be cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, working out, running to a store, and then later Bob and I are going over to his parent's house for dinner.
I really don't want it to get any colder out, but, I am excited to have days off of work for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. And I'm also excited to decorate the apartment for Christmas! I'm going to do that the day after Thanksgiving.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Modcloth Route 66 dress. I had to take a picture under that tree with the bright red leaves! It was so beautiful.

Hello there! Bob and I got back a little bit ago, from Pennsylvania. We had a really good time. We did a lot of shopping today! I found so many great Christmas ornaments, that go perfectly with my decorating scheme. I call my scheme "Christmas Candyland." My favourite ornaments that I found today are the lollipop ones with rainbow sprinkles. I also got a few Christmas presents for some family members. I love shopping for Christmas presents! I got really cute wrapping paper as well.
Bob did well last night with gambling, he came out about $200 up!!! I'm jealous, ha. I lost $5. I don't gamble much at all. Our dinner was SO good! We've eaten at the Irish pub there before, but what I ordered last night is definitely my favourite meal I've had there. I got a grilled cheese, and it was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. It had tomatoes in it, which always makes grilled cheese better. The sourdough bread was amazing, and it had garlic in it, too.
It was so nice to get away for a night with Bob. I love traveling with him, even if it's just mini trips like this one. We have so much fun together, and love to explore places, and pack a lot into our trips.
I'm just relaxing and staying in tonight. I'm a little tired, I woke up at 8 a.m. this morning, and couldn't fall back asleep. (I had went to bed around 2.) At least the clocks go back one hour tonight!
In the pictures below I paired my food print dress with my new fruit flats! It might be food overload, but I think they look really cute together!
