Atomic Doris

Hello there! Today I met my friend for brunch at Panera, and then came home and took a long nap. I started cleaning and doing laundry after that, so I have to finish that up and work out, too. Last nigh Bob and I just stayed in. We watched "The Philadelphia Story" with three of my favorites: Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart. 
We still have a lot more of the old movies my mom lent us to go through, plus she has more at home that she'll lend to us when we're finished with these. I can't believe I only recently started watching old movies! It's a whole new fantastic world that's opened up to me. Besides enjoying the movies themselves, I get to look at all that beautiful fashion & decor!
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Pinup Girl Clothing Sabrina top & atomic print skirt. 
I didn't get the skirt when it was originally on the site, but ended up being able to track it down about a year ago from a Facebook swap & sell group. I love the print on it, and that super bright shade of mint is really nice, too. My lavender basket purse is a geat match to it.
Not much fits in these baguette basket purses, but they're super cute! 
I wear dresses so much more than I wear skirts. I just almost always tend to reach for a dress. I find them to be more comfortable and flattering in general. With skirts, my tops tend to bunch up under them when I'm sitting, and that creates a not so flattering look. I wish there was a way to prevent that from happening.
