Hello there! This week has been fairly quiet so far, but I have plans Friday through Sunday. Tomorrow night I'm having pizza with Bob, my dad, and grandmother, and then I'm seeing a friend. Saturday night Bob's friend and his wife are coming over for dinner, and Sunday I'm going to Cheesecake Factory for lunch with a friend.
I recently took out "Sally's Cookie Addiction" from the library, and have made a couple of items from there, and they turned out well, so I just bought "Sally's Baking Addiction". I'm going to make cookie batter chocolate chip cookies tonight from "Sally's Baking Addiction"; that's her most popular recipe, and is on the cover of the book. I had heard of Sally before, and follow her on Instagram, but never tried out any of her recipes until I took the book out from the library. She has a blog too, and that's how she got her start.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my new to me Trashy Diva Berry Chantilly Trixie dress that I got last month. This dress is made of stretch rayon, and is soooo comfortable. I have this print in the TD 1940s dress, too. I obviously have a thing for adorable fruit prints, and it's clearly reflected in my wardrobe.
I almost passed this dress on, because I first tried it on without a belt or petticoat. I'm glad I didn't give up on the dress, as it looks much better on me with the belt and petticoat. It's a little too cold now to wear this outside, as the material is quite thin. But, I can't wait to wear it when it's FINALLY spring here! Spring is supposed to arrive in five days, and I wish NJ weather would get the memo!
