Hello there! Today I cleaned the apartment, did laundry, worked out, ran a couple last minute errands, packed some more, and we went to dinner with Bob's family.
I can't believe it's finally here already, and we are leaving tomorrow! It's so great to be able to say that, and even better- to simply be away from work for nine days. It's a very freeing feeling. Vacations ALWAYS fly by so crazy fast, so I have to really try and savor each day, and make the most of everything. I am simply grateful that we are able to afford trips like this.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts. I got it at TJ Maxx for I think $17. I love the cowl neck, and the colourblocking of my two fav colours. It's just all around a great shirt! Of course it matches perfectly with my new pink, orange, and aqua necklace.
The first picture below is of a pillow I bought at Home Goods yesterday. I really love it! It has so many colours in it, which of course is something that catches my eye!

It'a Friday, Friday, Friday! :) And my weekend has officially started. I had bought a top & pair of shorts yesterday at TJ Maxx. I returned the shorts today though, right after work. When I went home, and tried them both on...I just decided the shorts weren't for me. They were pretty short, and too close to my thigh. I think it's a more flattering look on me when shorts aren't super short, and also when they are a bit wider than my thighs. They were such a great colour, though! Bright yellow. I really want a pair of bright yellow shorts.
I'm really looking forward to going to my parent's tomorrow for a bbq. All of my grandparents will be there, my sister, cousins, and maybe an aunt and uncle. I haven't seen my sister since Easter. There'll be lots of good food, that's for sure! My mom is a GREAT cook/baker. And I'm not just saying that because she's my mom, ha. I baked a Funfetti cake to bring over. I've had a couple boxes of the cake mix in my cabinet for a long time now. I'm sure there'll be plenty of other desserts there already, but one more can't hurt! Ha.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing an orange dress from Express. I bought it a year ago. I LOVE it. I had seen it before in the store, and had even tried it on. But, just didn't buy it right away. When I went to Las Vegas with my friend, and tried it on again, I had to have it! The colour is great, too.
The first picture was taken at work today. I had so many rainbow items on today. :) I had even more that weren't pictured, ha.
Even though our AC is blasting in our living room, (we have a wall unit) when I took these few pictures in our kitchen...I was sweating a lot already! The air doesn't really reach the kitchen, unfortunatly!

Hello! This afternoon Bob and I went over to his parent's house. They only live ten minutes away from us. They were having friends over for a bbq. But, we did end up being inside almos the whole time, since it was cool out. We did play catch with a football for a little while, and also played a game of cornhole.
It was nice to have different scenery for my outfit pictures, much better than the usual backdrop of my kitchen, ha.
I really love my Salt Water Sandals. I have them in fuschia, too. They really are soooo comfortable!
Tomorrow we're going to another bbq, at Bob's friend's parent's house. It's great having so much good, free food! :) I'm so glad we have off tomorrow. It'll definetly be hard to go back to work Tuesday!
Mad Men is starting now, so I have to go watch it!
