Hello there! Yesterday I worked from home, they told us Thursday afternoon that we wouldn't be open on Friday because of the snow. I believe that's the first time they've ever closed for snow, since I've been there. It ended up snowing about five inches, but it was also windy, with bitterly cold temperatures. I'm seriously sick and tired of seeing snow, and being freezing. It's just depressing.
My mom and I were going to pick up my wedding dress last night, but we changed it to tomorrow, because of the weather yesterday. I'll be trying it on there, paying the balance on it, and I really hope I don't need much alteration to it! I don't think I will. If I don't need much alteration, my mom said she can do it for me. So, that's great!
Today I'm going to be doing the normal tasks I do on Saturdays, like cleaning, laundry, and working out. Other than that, I think I'll just be baking chocolate oatmean cookies, and staying in and relaxing. This weather really makes me not want to go out! I was thinking of going to Cheesecake Factory with Bob, but I decided not to go today. He's going to make a tomato tart for us! I'm excited, it tastes amazing. It tastes very similar to pizza. And we had pizza last night, ha. I can't get enough of it.
We sent out almost all of our wedding invitations! I'm glad to have that out of the way.
My Pin Up Girl Clothing order came on Thursday, and I couldn't be happier with both the dress and the skirt. I wasn't completly sure that I'd love that dress, because it has a black background, and I'm not too into black, although I do have one other dress with a black background. But, the dress fits great, and is very flattering! I love how it looks. And the cherries are very vibrant and cute. The dress has a little bit of room in it, which is nice. The other dress I have from there (harlequin print) is tight, but that's how it's supposed to fit.
I love the colours in the skirt! It has my favourite colors in it: pink, orange, and yellow.
I spent the rest of my Christmas money yesterday, when I ordered another dress and skirt from Pin Up Girl! Well, I also spent $30 over the money I got for Christmas, but that's not so bad, ha. Plus, I wanted to get free shipping, since I hate paying for shipping, so I had to spend over a certain amount to get it.

Hello there! Tonight's
going to be pretty relaxing. Bob and I just finished eating dinner and
taking pictures. It wasn't very bright outside when we took these, so
the lighting of the pictures suffered.
I'm really looking forward to heading to Bridgewater Mall with Bob on Saturday! I haven't been to that mall in months, probably not since the end of December. My mom is stopping by the apartment on Sunday for a little bit. Those are my only plans for the weekend.
My new Modcloth dress arrived today. I had gotten it with a gift card from Bob for my birthday. It fits great! I love the cute Route 66 print on it. I LOVE to travel, so this dress is perfect for me, with all the quirky pictures of places along Route 66. I thought the thick red belt paired well with the dress.

Hello there! Today felt like a Friday to me all day. This week has just seemed so impossibly long! Tonight Bob made one of my favourite meals: rigatoni with broccoli, tomatoes, and Alfredo sauce!
On my lunch break I went to TJ Maxx and Old Navy. As usual I didn't find anything at TJ Maxx. I don't think I've bought anything in about five months from there. I usually don't see anything at Old Navy, either. But, today I found two items that I had been looking for all over for awhile. I found a pair of black ballet flats and a bright yellow cardigan. So, I'm happy I was able to get those, and for a good price.

Hello there! Today I cleaned the apartment, did laundry, worked out, ran a couple last minute errands, packed some more, and we went to dinner with Bob's family.
I can't believe it's finally here already, and we are leaving tomorrow! It's so great to be able to say that, and even better- to simply be away from work for nine days. It's a very freeing feeling. Vacations ALWAYS fly by so crazy fast, so I have to really try and savor each day, and make the most of everything. I am simply grateful that we are able to afford trips like this.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts. I got it at TJ Maxx for I think $17. I love the cowl neck, and the colourblocking of my two fav colours. It's just all around a great shirt! Of course it matches perfectly with my new pink, orange, and aqua necklace.

In the pictures below, I'm wearing one of my two new Francesca's Collections necklaces. I really love this one! Pink and orange are my favourite colours, so it'll definetly match with a lot of my wardrobe. I also love how bright and cheery it is.
The moccasins I'm wearing in the pictures are my favourite flats. I wear them constantly in the fall, spring, and even winter! Of course I love them so much because they're rainbow! I haven't worn them all summer, since I live in sandals in the summer.
I have so many pink and orange shirts and dresses, and it's great because I have sooo many shoes and accessories that match perfectly! Ha.
Bob and I started watching Breaking Bad Season 3 this week! But, he was out for hours last night, and probably will be tonight too, so I'm really itching to see it again! Might have to wait until tomorrow.

Hello there! I've been having a great weekend. Got back from Connecticut around 1:30 today. (We also made a couple stops on the way home.) We didn't hit any traffic on the way back, which was great! We went in the ocean for a little bit yesterday. The water felt so great! There weren't any waves where we were though. Of course I got a little burned! I never seem to be able to prevent it, unforunatly.
In the pictures below, I'm wearing a top that I picked up at TJ Maxx in Conneticut yesterday, it was $15. I love the leaf pattern on this top. I have this top in another pattern, I wore it on my blog a couple weeks ago. The brand of these two tops is Cable & Gauge. Most of my shirts are this brand. I can usually get them at great prices at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Macy*s. I actually picked up another Cable & Gauge brand top today too, at Macy*s.
I don't wear these shorts much, but I thought they were perfect paired with the shirt. (I don't wear a lot of green.) I wore a belt over the top, because they're not any definition in the waist on this top.

Hello there! Well, the two worst days of the work week are over with. So, that's some progress! Ha. It's been super hot and sunny here, as of late. Hopefully tonight Bob and I will take a dip in the pool again. I took a risk by straightening my hair yesterday. Wasn't sure if it would hold up at all, even in just the very short time I was outside. (Walking to and from my car, and taking these pics.) But, luckily it mostly did. It was flipping out a bit more than I'd like, on my right side.
I can't wait for the weekend! Saturday morning we are heading to Connecticut to visit my sister.
The shirt in the pictures below I also have in a 3/4 version, with a twist front. I REALLY love this zig zag print. Love the colours in it of course, but also just the pattern itself. I like the arm shoulder cut outs on the shirt as well. So, I have this shirt in two versions, these sandals in three colours, and the shorts I have in six colours! Can you tell that I love buying things in multiples? Ha.
