(Just Over) Five Months Left!

Hello there! I keep thinking about this upcoming three day weekend! Sunday Bob and I headed to the mall so we can look at wedding rings, I can look for bras, and also possibly shoes for my wedding! I have a pair of heels arriving this week as possible wedding shoes. Hopefully I like them.
I made my hair appointment today for the day of the wedding. It's at eight a.m., nice and early ha. It's great because it's literally two minutes from where I live. I'll be going there for a trial run in about a month or so. I have to wait for my mom to be done making my veil, before I can go in for it. I also have to decide if I want to keep growing my highlights out, or make an appointment a little bit before the wedding to get blonde highlights. Decisions, decisions! I had nooo idea how many decisions were involved in planning a wedding!
I've been talking about the bachelorette party the past couple days with the bridesmaids. We decided to go Saturday, June 7th to Atlantic City, and stay overnight. I'm excited already!! I told them I wanted to go to AC, so we can hang out at the beach bars almost the whole time. I've only been to the beach bars there once, but I LOVED it. It's sooo nice to be right on the beach! And the temperatures will probably be perfect then! I went to the beach bars there when I went for a bachelorette party a year and a half ago. We went at the beginning of July. It was a lot of fun, there was music playing, and a decent amount of people. They also made this amazing drink at one of the bars! It was orange flavored, really sweet tasting.
I can't believe my wedding is just over five months away!
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts. I've had it for two years now. I love the pattern and the colours in it. I'm also wearing my new bracelet that came two weeks ago. It's my favourite bracelet now. Since the colours are pastel shades, it definitely doesn't match with everything in my wardrobe. I thought it went with my shirt enough to wear it. The shade of light blue in the bracelet and the shirt match almost perfectly, as well as the shades of green in both.

Snowy Weekend

Hello there! Yay, the weekend has returned. But, it brought with it snow, ugh. It started snowing sometime overnight, but there's hardly anything on the ground yet. We're supposed to get 6-10 inches by the time it stops on Sunday morning. I feel so bad for Bob, he'll have to do so much plowing, and won't really get to have a weekend.
We're supposed to go over my great uncle's at 12 for his birthday, but not sure if we'll be able to. We were also going to have two friends over for dinner, but that got cancelled because of the weather. Seems like I'll be stuck inside most or all of the day and night, as well as a good part of tomorrow. So, today I'm going to bake cookies, clean the apartment, do laundry, read, watch TV, and work out.
Only one more full week of work to get through before time off starts for the holidays! I'm very excited for Christmas. I found out yesterday that we can dress down Monday the 23rd, Thurs & Fri the 26th & 27th, as well as Monday the 30th. Normally we can only dress down on Fridays. But, I think they're doing this because so many people are off on those days. There's not going to many of us in the office.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts and necklaces. They both have so many colorurs in them, which makes me happy. The necklace I got at Modcloth over a year ago, and the shirt I ordered online a year ago.

Bright Blue/Lime

Hello there! In the pictures below I'm wearing a colour combo that I really love- bright blue and lime green. I don't wear this combo too often, because most of my wardrobe is pink/orange/red/yellow. I picked up this great lime tank top, as well as a bright orange tank top at Kohl's on Sunday. I don't usually see anything I like at Kohl's, but I was happy to score these two cheap tank tops, as well as two great cropped sweaters! I got one in red and one in black. I'm going to wear them all the time with my dresses.
I really like this bright blue shirt, I love the draping of it. I think that makes it so flattering. I'm always looking for clothes to flatter me, since I'm larger on top than I am on bottom.
I really LOVE the necklace I'm wearing in the below pictures. It's definitely one of my fav accessories. It was such a great find! I got it at Dillard's in Virginia Beach. It was on sale for $21. I've never seen that necklace anywhere else, and I was surprised Dillard's had it. It doesn't seem like the type of style they would normally sell. We don't have any Dillard's up near where I live. I remember first hearing about it because my aunt in Texas loves that store.
I found a Halloween Hello Kitty beanie baby at Walgreens on Sunday! (Pictured below.) I was glad to finally find one; I didn't have any Halloween Hello Kitties before.
My Halloween costume came yesterday! I hadn't bought a costume in about five years. I'm not even sure where the one I was wearing the last few years went. But, I like my new costume much more anyway! It's so colorful and adorable. It's a Candyland dress. I can't wait to wear it and pair it with so many bright accessories.  :) It feels very "me."

Bridesmaid's Dress Shopping/Engagement Party

Hello there! Yesterday we found the bridesmaid's dresses! We all really loved them. The colour was perfect (they're pink, close to a coral colour), and the style was flattering and so pretty. They looked gorgeous! I was so happy that that dress worked out, and it was a great price. It was about half the price of the other dress we were deciding between.
I also tried on my wedding dress again, at my sister's request. I still love it! So, that's a relief ha. And all the bridesmaid's did, as well.
I'm so relieved to have all the major decisions done and over with. Next step is calling a hotel to book a block of rooms, and then order the invitations.
Our engagement party was at my parent's house last night. It went well. My mom is such a great cook and baker! The last few pictures on this post are from the party. My aunt who lives in Texas surprised me by ordering that GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers!
In the first few pictures below I'm wearing my favourite shirt. Love the pattern and all the colours! I wear it pretty often.

Zig Zag

Hello there! I'm not doing much tonight, other than working out. So nice to have Monday over with. I'm very much looking forward to this weekend!
Friday night Bob and I are going to my parents for my family birthday party. Saturday we'll be in NYC all day/part of the night. I hope I have some success when I go shopping there. I'm going to a jewelry store that I've found cute necklaces at before. This weekend is definitely going to be full of great food and drinks! My mom makes the best chocolate cake I have ever had.
And I have a three day weekend! I took a personal day on Monday. So, that is the best part of all.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts. I have it in a short sleeve version too, with cut outs at the shoulders. I just LOVE the pattern on this shirt! I got it from Macy*s close to two years ago, and I just love it just as much. I usually pair it with this bright blue Express tank top. And I also really love these bright orange heels. They add such a nice pop of colour to an outfit!

Bethlehem, PA

Hello there! The first few pictures were taken Saturday night, when Bob and I went to Bethlehem, PA with four of our friends. It's such a nice town/area. There's a casino there too, called The Sands. Bob and I are going there in a month and a half, for our anniversary.
We ate and had drinks at Brew Works, and we also walked to a really cute book/gift store called The Moravian Book Store. It's actually the world's oldest continually operating book store. I bought my first Jim Shore item there. It's the Las Vegas Santa ornament in a picture below. I love a lot of Jim Shore items, and I know I'll be buying more before Christmas this year, so I can use them to decorate the apartment!
In the bottom few pictures below I'm wearing one of my favourite shirts. I of course love that it has rainbow colours in it. I also think it's quite flattering; I have many shirts in this style/brand. I think these shoes pair well with it. They are so comfy! They're Jessica Simpson brand, and they're the comfiest flats I have.
