Junk Food Explosion

Hello there! Tonight after work I met up with my good friend for dinner. Tomorrow night Bob and I are going to visit my grandmother, and Saturday I'm going to my cousin's baby shower. It's at my parent's house. I'll get to visit my pets, too! Can't wait for that. I'm bringing chocolate oatmeal cookies to the shower. They are one of my all time fav cookies, and I am a cookie monster! They are one of Bob's fav cookies, as well.
We are supposed to have another beautiful weekend. This weather has made me feel so much more content! I needed this sunshine so badly, after being so deprived for so long. The fresh air cirulating in our apartment smells so good, too.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my very favourite prints. I have this print in a dress, too, and a purse. It's so bright & fun! I scored this print from an Etsy shop. I wish I could find more online shops that sell handmade, fun circle skirts with cute patterns/bright colours, and for a reasonable price!

Las Vegas, Part II

Hello there! Today is a typical Sunday for us. I'm going to work out, watch TV, and read. Bob is going to bake and cook. And later we're going to watch "Big Eyes". I'm excited; I've wanted to see it since it came out in theaters months ago. Hope it's good! I adore Christopher Waltz & Amy Adams.
I am posting the rest of my Las Vegas trip pics. The pictures of me in the oranges dress were taken the last day we attended Viva, on Saturday. I took a picture with a sweet woman that I follow on Instagram (not sure of her real name, her Instagram name is: littlepinkwreckingball). I was also nervous to ask her for a picture, but I'm glad I did.
On Sunday we went to Old Vegas. We had never been before, on any of our previous Vegas trips. We honestly were disappointed. It was basically a strip of crappy, small casinos and crappy little shops selling knickknacks. It wasn't nearly as big as I thought it would be. We did eat an early dinner at a Mexican place that a bartender had recommended to us. I thought that it was really good. We did see the famous Heart Attack Cafe (I posted a pic of it below), but we didn't go in. It's definitelty a big touristy area, there were a lot of people walking around. I'm glad we saw Old just wasn't what I pictured it would be. We tried to go the Neon Sign Museum while we were out there, but unfortauntely they were sold out for the tour we wanted to go on. I would really like to check that place out soon! Next time...
It was so weird that Sunday was Easter, we barely thought about it. It of course doesn't feel like Easter when you're in Vegas! But, when we were having drinks in the afternoon at Margaritaville, on the deck in front, we saw a person walk by with an Easter Bunny costume on.
Monday was our most relaxing, slow day of the trip. We didn't go too far. We went back to some stores at The Linq, which was pretty close to our hotel. I bought some more Cat Studio items there. We ate dinner at The Tilted Kilt, a restaurant at The Linq. It's a chain restaurant, and we've eaten there in Myrtle Beach. It was during a playoff NCAA basketball game, and there's a huge sports bar inside, which is where the only free table was, sooo it was really loud almost the whole time we were in there.
Our trip just flew it always does there. By Monday we had seen all we wanted to, so I'm glad we did get everything in.
The first few pics below we taken in the back of The Flaming hotel/casino. The Flamingo is our fav hotel we've stayed at; we've stayed there two times in the past. We like to visit the back area. It's so pretty back there. There are the flamingos of course, but also other birds, and lots of HUGE koi fish. There's a waterfall and a fountain, too. On the day we were there we saw a few parrots. People could pay to take pictures with them, but we didn't do that.
We ate at Hash House A Go Go one night. We had never eaten there before. It's in The Linq. It had been recommended to me that we eat there. I got chicken and waffles, which I had never ordered before anywhere. It was really good! And the portion was HUGE. You can see a picture of it below.
I got the BBQ dress, the white cropped cardi, and blue fruit purse I am wearing in the pics below at Viva. The purse is sooo perfect for me! I got it from Rough Seas Designs. I had never gottena nything from them before attending Viva, but I picked up this amazing purse & also a small white purse/clutch.

Leaf It To Bernie

Hello there! I am so very happy that it's the weekend! I don't have many plans for today yet, other than working out, cleaning, doing laundry, and take outside outfit pics. Bob's going to cut my hair this weekend, and I am excited for that. He has never cut my hair before, but he cuts his own, and does a good job. I trust him. I just hate going to the salon, and always put it off, but I desperately need a hair cut now.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my latest Bernie Dexter dress. I scored this one on eBay, and for half the price of a normal Bernie. The leaf print obviously makes it very well suited for wearing it in fall, but...I may be wearing it in other seasons too, ha. I really don't like to pay full price for a Bernie dress, so I scour eBay for her items. Luckily, she often lists dress for about half off in her own eBay shop. This dress isn't as bright as most of my clothing, but that's okay. The shape of the dress and the cute print more than make up for it. Also, wearing my bright blue cropped cardigan with it brightens it up a bit. I just need to get a brooch that matches! My necklace kind of looks like leaves though, so that pairs quite nicely with the outfit.

So Many Popsicles

Hello there! I am soooo ready for it be Friday, how about you?! Tonight I'm just staying in & relaxing with Bob, and watching "Impractical Jokers"! There's a new episode on at 10. The weather hasn't been as nice this week, as it was last weekend. But, this coming weekend is supposed to be sunny, so that's good news. I'm meeting my friend for dinner at Panera tomorrow night. After that I'm just going home & having drinks with Bob.
In the pictures below I'm wearing an Emily & Fin brand dress that I got from Modcloth a year ago. The print is just the perfect summertime print! But, that won't stop me from wearing it in the spring & fall, too. It's too darn cute of a print to only wear it during one season! The background colour is not a colour I particularly like, but it's okay, since the print is has some better colours in it! I also don't have many shoes that pair well with the dress, and after taking outfit pics in this outfit, I see that the wedges really don't match the dress, ha. Next time I'll wear black heels or my orangey BAIT Idas.

New Hope & Milford

Hello there! We had a great time in New Hope & Milford yesterday. It truly was perfect weather, and there were a ton of people in New Hope. We walked around, went down by the river, got lunch and drinks outside, and went in some shops. I snagged a super cute watermelon purse and a bunny beanie baby, which was on sale for only $2.50.The shop I got the purse from is called 13 Vintage, and the shop owner recognized me from Instagram, which is the first time that's happened locally. (It happened in Vegas, too.) I've been in the shop a few times before; it's my favourite clothing shop there. They carry Hell Bunny, too. After we left New Hope, we went to a brew pub in Milford, called The Ship Inn. Bob's brother and his friend and girlfriend met us there.
The area that New Hope and Milford are in is really beautiful. There are a bunch of small, quaint towns next to each other, with a lot of farmland, the Delaware River, a canal, and mountains. It was a really good day. I love taking day trips when it's nice out.
Since I didn't do the things I normally do on Saturdays, yesterday (cleaning, laundry, etc.), I'll be doing them today, and later on Bob's family will be coming over for cake.
The pictures below are from New Hope and Milford yesterday. I was wearing my Pin Up Girl Clothing bright blue Harley dress. I have it in coral, too. I just adore these dresses, so much. They are very tight in the chest/waist (probably my tighest dresses in those areas), but they are just gorgeous. I wish PUG would come out with more colours soon!

Care For A Cupcake?

Hello there! Today is such a gorgeous day out! It's going to be 75 degrees & very sunny. It's the perfect day to walk around New Hope with my husband, for his birthday! We are getting there around noon. It's such a pretty town, with lots of little shops and restaurants. I'm sure it'll be crowded today. This is probably the best/warmest day we've had since the fall! We are going to sit outside and have lunch. I just love sitting outside as much as possible, when it's beautiful out. When we're done in New Hope, we're heading over to a town about half an hour from there, to meet some of his friends for dinner and drinks, and tomorrow evening we'll be having cake with his family.
I'm not actually wearing the outfit today that is in the pictures below. (I'll be wearing a Harley Pin Up Girl Clothing dress today.) But, this Modcloth Bea & Dot cupcake dress is too darn cute! I'm so glad I've been able to take lots of outside pictures lately! The lighting is just sooo much better than taking them in my kitchen!
