Hello there! Well, I'm back in the swing of things, after a nice, long, relaxing break from work. It's always a little rough to come back to work after a vacation; like a jolt to the system, ha. I don't have much going on this week or weekend as of yet, which is fine by me.
I did a lot of cleaning things out/getting rids of things/organizing at our apartment over break, and I'm probably going to do just a tad more this weekend. After that, I'll be set. I love purging things; it makes me feel good. It also helps a lot since we're in an apartment and not an area with more space. Bob's going to start going through his stuff this week too; he wants to get rids of some things and take some things to his parents' house to keep there until we get our own house, which will hopfully be soon.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Trashy Diva Geisha Fans Honey dress that I got from their website two years ago. It's still my most beloved "fancy" dress. I don't wear it to work. Since I bought it, I've brought it with me on I think all of my vacations I've gone on. I love wearing it in Vegas, and will be bringing it again in April. The Honey is one of my very favorite TD styles; it just works so well on my body. I have three Honeys right now, and this is my favorite of the bunch. The background shade of blue is divine, and the print is beyond gorgeous! TD uses a lot, and has always used a lot of Asian inspired prints in their designs, and I have loved most of their recent ones. This is definitely my very favorite of all of their Asian inspired prints.

Hello there! Happy Saturday! Bob and I are heading to Bethlehem today, to go out to eat, and go to the Moravian Bookstore. I think I'm going to wear my Trashy Diva rockets dress. I've worn it to work a couple of times, but not to go out anywhere. I need to debut it in public! Tomorrow we'll just be staying in. Bob's going to watch the Superbowl, but I have zero interest, and will be doing other things while it's on, ha.
I'm glad we've almost gone a full week in February! I can't for the whole darn month to be over with, as I can't stand January or February (because of the weather). It's a month and a have until spring, and I really hope it flies by.
Last night Pin Up Girl Clothing posted a picture on their Instagram that new colors of the peasant top would be available online next week! Well, that some of the new colors would be. I'm really hoping the bright blue will be online next week. It's my favorite shade of blue, so I needddd it.
The dress in the pictures below was an eBay find I got a couple of months ago (I posted a blog about it back then, too). I had missed it when it was available on Modcloth, and then couldn't find it in my size for a longggg time. I finally found it in my size on eBay, and quickly snagged it, but when it arrived it was a size smaller than the listing had said! It's super tight on my chest, but it miraculously zips, ha! I love the poppy print! I have a Hell Bunny dress in a poppy print, too. That shade of orange-y red is my fav shade of red. My BAIT poppy red Robbies match perfectly, as well. I wear these shoes A LOT. They are very comfy, too!

Hello there! I am SUPER excited for my four day weekend! I have been counting down for quite awhile now, ha. I don't have a ton planned, but I'm happy about that. I like to relax a lot during long weeknds like this.Tonight we are putting up the tree, and I'll probably start decorating it, and finish Thursday or Friday. I think we are also going to watch "White Christmas", my favorite Christmas movie. Bob saw it for the first time last year, when I showed it to him. I couldn't believe he hadn't seen it before, but luckily he liked it, ha. I'm looking forward to having some drinks with Bob, watching the movie, and staying up (a little) late. It's a great kick-off to the long weekend, although Bob works Friday.
Tomorrow I'll be meeting my parents are my great uncle's to visit him for a bit, then we are headed to my grandparent's house for the main event, and after that we are heading to my dad's cousin's house to visit them. It's not much traveling for me though, because they all live within 15 minutes of me. Bob's going to his aunt & uncle's house. Saturday night I'll be going out with Bob and some friends, to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday.

Hello there! Bob is working today. He's worked the last three Saturdays. They've been really busy lately. I'll be cleaning, doing laundry, and working out. Tonight we are meeting his family for dinner at Friendly's. Friendly's is right around the corner from us, and I haven't been there in awhile. I always order the same thing there: chicken fingers & fries, with lots of honey mustard.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Trahsy Diva Americana dress. I won it off of eBay last Saturday. It's the first time I ever scored a TD item from eBay. I was so excited to win! There were a couple of other bidders, so I was nervous I wouldn't get it. This is a dress I have wanted for a long time, it was one of my "white whales". It's a size bigger than I normally am in TD, but the bust is tight. There's a little room in the waist, but you can't see that with the belt on. There was another TD dress on eBay that I really wanted to win, but lost out on, because the bidding went too high. I just love the look of this dress. I adore dresses with collars like this. I have a red Haunted Housewife Pin Up Girl Clothing dress that's similar to this one, too. I can wear this dress to just about anything. It's great for work, Christmastime, weekend wear, etc. There's a lot of room in the arms, which is nice, and makes for comfortable movement. I don't think I can have enough red TD dresses. I have three right now, and am eyeing another on eBay.
I'm also wearing my new brooch, from Atomicmingo, an Australian Etsy shop. It's my first time ordering from her. I love it! I have two more milkshake brooches coming from her.

Hello there! It is so gorgeous out already. I can't wait to take some good outside outfit pictures! It is so beautiful outside lately, with so many trees and flowers blooming. It's the spring festival in our town this weekend, and what absolutely perfect weather they are having for it! We're not going this time, but I've been many times before. It's some carnival rides, food booths, games, and then there's a M&Ms booth where everyone gets something free from them. FYI, M&Ms headquarters and factory is in my town. Sometimes you can smell the peanuts/chocolate.
When I was at my parent's yesterday, they had two trees in their front yard that were in bloom. It looked so nice. I had a good time at the shower. It was very low key, it was just my aunt, my grandmother, my sister, mom, my pregnant cousin. (It's her second child.) I got there around 11:40, and left about a little after 5. It was so nice to see my kitty and dog, too. Lucy (the cat) was outside mostly, so I went outside to visit with her. She was mostly laying in the sun on the deck. I hadn't seen my sister since Christmas. She's moving to Nashville in the beginning of August with her boyfriend. Bob and I will probably visit them in the summer once (before they move).
Today we aren't doing too much. I am probably cleaning some things out (seeing if I have anything else to get of, clothing, or otherwise. I've been doing that a lot lately.), and just working out, reading, and watching TV. Maybe running to Target...and of course, taking pictures. I hoping to go to Brew Works for dinner next Friday or Saturday. I'd like to eat outside too there, which we haven't done before. Tuesday I'm meeting up with a friend that I haven't seen in a few months, so I'm looking forward to that.

The print is so colourful, and just perfect for me. The purse in the pictures is Lux De Ville brand. I love their purses. I have one other one so far. I want a purple one, too. I don't have much purple in my wardrobe/accessories, but the purple is a great shade of it, like a bright lavendar.

Hello there! Today I'm going to be cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, working out, seeing the movie "Wild" with Bob, and then going over my friend's apartment. I have the book "Wild", and really loved it. I'm pretty excited to see the movie! I also went to the movies Monday with my sister, but in general I don't go to the movies much at all. I also really want to see "The Imitation Game", but it's not playing at our local theater right now.
Yesterday was a really nice day, I got to relax and also got some things done. I worked out, wrote thank you notes, went to the bank and library, watched a documentary (which was really good and sad, called "Blackfish"), read, and then at night went out to a bar with Bob, his brother, and three friends. I don't want to be too busy over my break, but I also don't want to not do much at all. So far it's been a nice balance.
Tomorrow Bob and I are heading to Bethlehem to go out to eat & have drinks, and go to a store there. I'm excited for that. He's treating me to lunch as part of my Christmas present, too. It's been very sunny the last three days, so that's been wonderful. Hope it is tomorrow, too.
