Hello there! Yesterday was a pretty full day; after I cleaned, did laundry and worked out, Bob and I headed out to Bethlehem. We went out to eat at my favorite restaurant there, and then we walked down the street to the Moravian Book Store, which is the oldest book store in the U.S. They usually have cute holiday/seasonal decorations, but I didn't find anything to buy there yesterday.
On our way back we stopped at an antique store we had never been to before. It's about half an hour from where we live, and I had been meaning to check it out for months. I found a cute little sour cream glass with pink ivy on it, for $4. They also had a wonderful formica vintage table that I really want, and that I think we're going to go back for. We don't have much room in our apartment for it, but we definitely will once we have a house.
We are going to try it out in our kitchen in the apartment first though to see if it works in there, space wise. If it doesn't, we'll store it at Bob's parents' house until we have a house. I posted a picture below of the table.
After we went to the antique store, we picked up a cake for Bob's dads' birthday, and then went over his parents' house to celebrate. We made a stop at the grocery store on the way home, and finally got back around 8:30. It wasn't that warm out yesterday (about 45 degrees), and it was cloudy and windy, but I was still glad to get out for the day, since we don't get to do that really in the winter. Once we get back from Vegas, I really hope spring is in full swing here, and that it's consistently warm out.
In the pictures below I'm wearing the outfit I wore yesterday. I posted about this dress back in February, when I received it. I've worn it a lot since then; just not to work, since it's not work appropriate with the liquor labels all over it, ha. I changed my bangle stack a bit this time, because I realized that my new seafoam Splendette bangles match the green in the dress. I'm definitely bringing this dress to Viva! It's not my typical full skirted dress style, but I do have two other TD Day dresses like this, with the straighter cut skirt.

Fallin' For This Skirt
Hello there! So, I had a great time in Bethlehem last night with Bob. We got there later than we normally do; we normally get there around 3:00 or 4:00 p.m., to avoid the dinner rush, but we got there around 5:00, and then drove arond trying to find parking. Of course when we got in the restaurant it was packed, and there was a wait. Luckily we only waited for twenty minutes, and we were able to leave and walk around, because they texted us when our table was ready. I loved my meal, which is the same food I also order there ha, pretzels & beer cheese soup dip. It's so savory, flavorful, and delicious, and every time I've ordered it somewhere else, it is nowhere near as good. After dinner we walked down Main Street, and went to the Moravian Book Store, a stop we make every time we go to Bethlehem. It's the oldest book store in the U.S.; it's a really big store, and they have really cute gifts there, and lots of holiday decorations. I picked up three Christmas ornaments that I loved. They're all sweets, which is (I'm sure it's not a shocker) the theme of my Christmas decorating, and my ornament collection has gotten pretty big!
Speaking of ornaments, I'm so excited for my mom to go to Germany next month because I can't wait to see what ornaments and other goodies she picks up for me there! But, I'll have to wait until Christmas to find out. If you didn't know, Christmas is HUGE in Germany, and my mom has always had an obsession with Christmas and all things German, so she's gone over there a few times in November or December to do Christmas market tours and shopping, and I went with her once. Bob and I are actually going to a big antique toy show in the beginning of November in PA; we are meeting my parents and aunt and uncle there, and my mom has been there many times before, and told me there's a lot of antique Christmas decorations there, too, so I'm excited!
In the pictures below I'm wearing my new Pin Up Girl Clothing Halloween skirt, designed by artist Steph Buschema. As soon as I saw PUG first post about it was a month or so ago, I couldn't wait for it to become available, and as soon as it did, I snatched it up. A lot of their Halloween items have been selling out SUPER fast. I was hoping my orange Harley top would match it, and they do match very well. The skirt is quite full, which I love. I don't wear petticoats, but if you do, you wouldn't need one for this skirt. The black Mary Jane heels I'm wearing are SO comfortable! They're BAIT, and I received them a couple of weeks or so ago. I've worn them to work too, and they never bother my feet at all, plus they're super cute!

Mascara Kelly
Hello there! Today is so nice out, it's in the low 70's. I'm not doing too much; just been cleaning, did laundry, ran an errand, and worked out. I'll be going to Target later, too. Thursday night I met a couple friends at a restaurant/bar, and we sat outside for the first time there, which was really nice. It was really warm out and sunny that day, and the outside seating area was quite big. They had sand outside, leading up to a deck that has a boat on it, and bartenders work inside the boat, and serve you from there. There wasn't an outside bartender when we were there, so we got drinks inside, and brought them outside to a table. Bob and I are going to go back on a weekend night and check it out, I'm sure there will be outside bartenders then.
Last night Bob and I went to Bethlehem, PA. We went out to eat at Brew Works, my favorite restaurant. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded, and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to come out. It can get very crowded there Friday nights and Saturdays. After we left there, we headed to the casino. We weren't there long at all, and I didn't do any gambling, but Bob did a little. I just love going out to places on the weekends when it's nice out, and taking advantage of the beautiful weather.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my new Bernie Dexter mascara print Kelly dress. I loveee the neon-ish color scheme of the dress. I love the Kelly style dress more than any other Bernie dresses. You just can't beat a good shirt dress, in my opinion! I also love the adorable mascara print, and I do love mascara. I can't leave home without it on. I won't leave home without wearing at least blush and mascara; those are my two absolute essentials!

Trip To Bethlehem
Hello there! Bob and I had a good time yesterday in Bethlehem. I got what I always order at Brew Works, Bavarian pretzels and beer cheese soup dip. It's one of my favourite meals ever. I've only ordered it at one other German restaurant, and it wasn't nearly as good there. After we had dinner and a couple of drinks there, we went to the Moravian Book Store. We looked around, but didn't buy anything. Then we headed over to the nearby casino. I didn't gamble at all, just had a couple of drinks. Bob gambled a bit at a slot machine. He's more into gambling than I am, that's for sure, ha. Bethlehem is a really nice, old German town with mom and pop little shops and restaurants, as well as the casino. It's an hour away from us, so it's a great place to take a day trip to on the weekends. Brew Works is my favourite restaurant in our area. We don't go out to eat much at all, so I really enjoy it when we do.
In my last post, I posted about my Moais in Space skirt, and I paired it with my lime green peasant top. This is another skirt that pairs perfectly with that top. I got this skirt for a steal a few months ago. It was $25 including shipping from Australia! It's big on me, but not so huge it falls off. It was more than worth the price. The print is just so cute and perfect for me.

Gorgeous Weekend
Hello there! It was so nice to wear a short dress out last night, with a light coat over it, and not be totally freezing! Although, by the time we left the resaturant/bar, I was pretty cold when we walked back to the car. When we got to Brew Works, we were told it would be between 45 minutes and an hour wait for a table. I was already hungry, so that didn't make me happy. But, Bob found a high top table by the bar, and we asked if we could sit there, and luckily we could. (Turns out it's a self-seating section by the bar.) So, that worked out well. I had what I always have there: soft pretzels and beer cheese soup dip. Soooo amazing!
After some drinks and food, we went to the downstairs bar area. That was pretty crowded, too. More so than usual when we've been there. So, we couldn't sit at the bar. But, we sat on ottomans in the same room, and after a little while some people got up, and left a couch, so we moved to the couch. We don't go out by ourselves much, for dinner and/or drinks. So, it was nice to do that. Four months from this past Friday is our wedding! And four months from today we leave for the honeymoon. I'm just so excited for the honeymoon! And to be off of work for two and a half weeks. It'll be MUCH needed.
Yesterday I took some pictures outside, it was way too beautiful out to miss that opportunity. I'll be taking more pictures outside today, as well. It's also beautiful out today! In the pictures below I'm wearing a Modcloth dress. It has U.S. states/cities all over it. I love the print so much. It's very appropriate for me, since I'm a big traveler. It also matches quite well with my orange/redish colour B.A.I.T. Footwear spectators, that I received a week ago. (Got them half off!!)
Both dresses, circular necklace: Modcloth
Drop necklace: Dillard's
Belt: NYC vendor
Earrings, brooch: Etsy
Heels: B.A.I.T. Footwear

Weekend time!
Well, the weekend is here once again! Last night, Bob and I went to Bethlehem Brew Works, and his friend Will met us there. It wasn't too packed, which is nice. We had a good time. Last time I was there I had skittle martinis. When I got there last night and looked at the drink menu, I saw that the skittle martini wasn't on the martini list. I asked the bartender, and luckily he could still make it, but they just didn't have skittles to put in it. That was fine with me, it still tasted just as good as last time! So very sweet tasting, which I love. The sweeter, the better. Also, they are very reasonable, as far as martinis go. $7.50 a pop.
We didn't get any food this time. But, I've had food twice there, and it's very good. Last time I ate there, I had a soft pretzel, with beer cheese sauce to dip it in. I wasn't sure if I'd like the sauce, since I don't like beer! Ha. But, both the pretzel and sauce were GREAT!
Today, I'll be doing the usual Saturday activities I do: cleaning the apartment, laundry, working out, going to Target. I may run to Marshall's and JoAnn Fabrics, too. Bob's brewing beer at his parent's house tonight, so I'll be staying home.
Sugar Factory opened in NYC yesterday! I can NOT wait to go! It's only the second location of the bar/restaurant to open. The first is in Vegas. It's one of my fav spots in Vegas. They have amazing martinis. It's great to now have one so close to us! To get NYC it takes us about two hours total, since we drive to the train station in Dover- which is half an hour away, and then the train takes about an hour and a half. We wouldn't drive in, it's too crazy/too much traffic to drive there!
Tomorrow I'm making chocolate oatmeal cookies. They're soooo good! One of my fav cookies ever. My Mom gave me the receipe. Bob loves them too. I haven't made them in a few months. His birthday is coming up so soon! It's Thursday. Guys are so hard to shop for! Ugh. I've asked him a few times what he wants, but he didn't give me any suggestions.
So, I've started looking at fabric online. I've found so many great, cute designs! Mostly on etsy.com. I asked my Mom yesterday if she would make me a dress, and she said yes ha. So, once I get a pattern and order fabric, she'll be able to start. She's a great sewer/knitter/etc. I never learned how to sew or knit. I should have. Here's some fabrics I really like:
And here's some pics of an outfit:
Top: Macy*s (Cable & Gauge brand)
Tank: Express
Jeans: Target (Merona brand)
Sandals: Modcloth
Necklace: Francesca's Collections
Watch: Modcloth
I love the top I'm wearing! I love how bright it is, and the design is neat.
