Happy New Year!

Hello there! Happy New Year! Last night Bob and I had a couple drinks at Applebee's, and then went to a friend's apartment for a party. It was a lot of fun. This new year will be a great one, since we'll be married in less than six months! And we've already been engaged for five months, I can't believe it!
Today two of our friends are coming over for dinner. (They're a couple.) It's going to be so good! We're going to have a turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, peas, and cranberry sauce. One of my very favourite meals. I'm so lucky to have a man who loves to cook! And that's he such a great cook.
In the pictures below I'm wearing an Ann Taylor dress. I also have it in red, but with 3/4 sleeves. They are really great dresses for work and special occasions. I wore the red one on Christmas Eve. I think they're quite flattering, and that's reflected in the name of the dresses. They're called "Miracle Dresses." I love this shade of pink as well. It's a nice, bright, vivid shade. I wear these black heels a lot. They're comfortable, and a good height. (About three inches.) I have the same heels in a dark red and bright pink also.
All this time off from work has been great! But, I just can't believe how fast it's been going. That's always the way, isn't it? At least I just have to go back for two days, and then I'll have two more days off! Bob and I may be going to Cheesecake Factory on Saturday. I'm making up my mind if I want to do that, or if I want him to make a tomato tart. He said it's up to me. So, either way it's going to be yummy! 
Friday night my mom and I are picking up my wedding dress! I hope it fits well. It's a size up from the sample I tried on in the store.

Hello there! I'm so glad to be done with 3/5 of the work week! I'm not doing much tonight. I ran to the library after work, and I'm just going to read and watch some of season five of "Six Feet Under." We are on the final season! I do like the show...but, I still don't love it. It is entertaining, but it's not as exciting to watch as my favourite shows are.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress I've worn on my blog before. It's pretty thin material, so it'll be hard to wear this when it gets cooler out. I think it's one of my most flattering pieces of clothing, and the colours/print are just so fabulous! 
I'm also wearing my brand new earrings and rings. They arrived today; I ordered them from Etsy. I was so excited when I ripped open the package! They are each so beautifully crafted, brightly coloured, and look so real! They are great sizes, too. I couldn't believe what a great job she did. I know I'll be wearing them all the time! Her prices are very reasonable, too. Her shop name on Etsy is: ScrumptiousDoodle . I ordered a donut ring from her, too. That should be here this week.

Sprinkles & Pumpkin

Hello there! I met with a good friend after work for a drink. Not doing too much else tonight. This week has been going quite slow, of course. That seems to be always the case when I have fun stuff planned for the weekend! My dentist appointment for tomorrow got cancelled, which makes me happy! Ha. It was just for a cleaning, but it was at a new dentist's office. I, like most people, really dread going to the dentist. And I especially dread it when it's a new one, and I don't know if I will like them or not.
In the pictures below I'm wearing an Ann Taylor shirt. It's another great, flattering Ann Taylor shirt. I recently wore a bright pink Ann Taylor shirt on the blog. This isn't a shade of orange I'd normally pick, since I usually go with bright shades. But, I do like this pumpkin hue, too. The pictures didn't turn out too great. By the time I got home tonight it was starting to get dark, so we couldn't take the pictures outside.
My new cell phone cover came today, and I really love it! It's so bright and cute, perfect for me. I got it from Etsy. I had been using the same cell phone cover that I first bought when I got my phone. I liked that cover a lot too, but this one is even better!

The Last Friday Of Summer

Hello there! In the pictures below I'm wearing an Ann Taylor top. Some of the most flattering clothes that I own are made by Ann Taylor. I love the style of the top; it's quite flattering. It's a great shade of green, too. I barely have any green clothing. I don't like dark green at all, but this shade of green is bright enough that it suits me.  
These moccasins are one of my favourite pairs of shoes! Of course I love that they're rainbow, but I also love that their moccasins. I don't own any other moccasins. I have three back up pairs of these that I ordered from a different website when they were on sale for $10 a pair!
This afternoon it got quite warm out! We have the AC on now, it's too hot in our apartment otherwise. Fall starts on Sunday, which is crazy that it's only two days away! But, today definitely feels like summer is still hanging on, which I love. 
I ordered a doughnut ring today- it's pink with rainbow sprinkles, and I also ordered a cell phone cover that has rainbow sprinkles all over it. I can't wait for both!

Pink & Orange

Hello there! I'm not doing too much tonight. Just going to read and watch TV with Bob. A few of our friends are coming over tomorrow night, and we're playing Cards Against Humanity. So, that should be fun! We haven't played that in a few months.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my favourite colour combo: pink and orange. Those are my wedding colours, too. I wear this combo often. The shirt is quite flattering, I love the style of it. It's a nice, vivid shade of pink.

Chocolate Oatmeal

Hello there! Bob and I are leaving soon to go see another florist. I hope she can give me some prices on the spot. I worked out and baked chocolate oatmeal cookies this morning. They are one of my fav kinds of cookies ever!
In the below pictures I'm wearing a pink shirt that I love. I don't really wear it in the summer, because of the 3/4 sleeve length. I love the empire waist and side ruching of the shirt. I of course love pairing it with this orange tank. Pink and orange is my favourite colour combo. And the bracelet pairs great with the two shirts. I got it from a cute little store on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, about three years ago. The shop has since closed down. 
I'm of course dreading Monday...but, we have a three day weekend next weekend, which is oh so lovely!!!

Another Rainbow Necklace

Hello there!
In the pictures below I'm wearing an outfit that I wore one night on vacation. I'm wearing my new necklace that I bought at a Dillard's on the trip. I LOVE it!! I got a lot of compliments on it when I wore it during the trip. Of course it matches with most of my wardrobe, ha. And this bright blue skater dress is one of my dresses that I wear the most. (Although I can't wear it to work.) I love the shade of blue. 
Unfortunatly in most of the below pics, my eyes are squinting because of how bright the sun was. That happened in many of the pics we took on the trip. Oh well, I'd rather have them than none!
My hair got lighter during the trip, and I got a little tan. The only day I really got burned was the last full day there. We were at the beach the longest that day, for about four hours. It was the hottest day too. 
I really had a great time on our trip. Did a lot of shopping, although I didn't buy that much. Went to the beach most of the days. The weather was bad all day on Thursday, so we didn't go at all then. We didn't go the day we got there either, since by the time we unpacked, showered, and ate it was late afternoon. 
The waves were pretty small, except for one day they were a bit better. The water was a little cold though. 
We saw dolphins in the water the first two days that we went to the beach. I love seeing them! Both times we were sitting on the beach when we saw them. I tried to take pictures, but that didn't work since the dolphin fins only showed above the water for such a small amount of time, before they went under again.
