Hello there! Happy Spring! Today it's very sunny out, and the birds are chirping. I hope yesterday is the very last snow we get until next Winter! It ruined our plans for today. We were going to go visit my sister in Connecticut, but because Bob got home from plowing/salting at 9 p.m. last night, he was too exhausted to wake up early to go visit her. The only good thing about this trip being cancelled, is that when we do go see (maybe at the end of April), it'll be warmer out and nicer for walking outside!
I ordered a dress from Pin Up Girl Clothing on Thursday, the first day it became available. And then on Friday I got an email that the whoel site is 20% off until Sunday night. I hate when that happens, ha! The size I ordered it already sold out though, since yesterday. I am debating ordering another dress or two though. They don't have 20% off sitewide too often.
Today I'll be cleaning, doing laundry, working out, going to Target, and just relaxing.

Hello there! Bob and I aren't doing too much tonight; I'll just be reading, and relaxing and watching "30 Rock". I'm currently reading "Orange Is The New Black". We watched season one on DVD, and loved it. But, we don't have Netflix, so we haven't been able to see season two yet. The book is quite good, but I'm going to finish it before we are able to see another season of the show, so when season two finally comes out on DVD, I'll already know what's going to happen in it, ha.
Saturday morning Bob and I are supposed to be headed up to Connecticut for the day to visit my sister, but now we're not sure we'll still be able to, because we are supposed to get snow on Friday (the first day of Spring)! If Bob has to plow for a long time, he'll be too tired to go up there Saturday. Ugh!
It's officially two weeks until Las Vegas! It's crunchtime now, and I am just so excited!

Hello there! Today we're not doing too much; a typical Sunday for us. We're just staying home. I'm working out, reading, and just watching tv/relaxing. Last night I met my friend for a drink in town. It's been a little easier to wear skirts/dresses out at night recently, since it hasn't been getting nearly as cold at night. (Although it does still get cold.) I just can't wait until it's not cold at all at night!! It will feel glorious. I don't wear tights/stocking/pantyhose, so it's especially cold for my legs, ha.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Pin Up Girl Clothing Jenny oranges dress. This is one of my absolutely favourite pieces in my whole wardrobe. I purchased it the day it was released. The print is just spectacular, and I love the matching orange belt and orange straps. It's my favourite shade of orange, as well. I also love that there is yellow in the print, so I can pair it with yellow shoes, like these B.A.I.T. wedges. I didn't wear this dress out of the apartment all Winter, and so I can't wait to start wearing it again this Spring. It's definitely more of a Spring through Fall kind of print, really becuse of how much white is in it. I have another dress with an oranges print, but it has a black background. I wear that year-round. I will definitely be wearing this dress in Vegas!

Hello there! Last night I went over my friend's apartment. Today I'm cleaning, doing laundry, working out, going to Target, and then at night meeting a friend at a bar. Lately I've been doing a lot of cleaning out of all sorts of things in our apartment; my clothes, shoes, accessories, and just miscellaneous things all over. I love doing that. I hate holding on to things I don't use or need.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Retrolicious brand bird skirt I got at Modcloth. Retrolicious uses the cutest fabrics! I'm anxiously awaiting to see what their Spring clothing line looks like! I hope they have more skirts in this style in their Spring line. I love the shape, fit, and length of this skirt. They also usually have at least a couple really colourful items, like this skirt, and that of course, is appealing to me, ha!

Hello there! Wow, today the weather has been just amazing. It really feels like Spring, and feels too good to be true after the atrocious Winter we had. It was about 55 degrees and sunny. I even had the windows down in my car. I really love how late it's light outside now, because of turning the clocks forward! When the weather is like this, it just makes me happier, and gets me so excited for even warmer days, and all the possibilities of things to do outside! Bob and I love taking day trips on the weekend, and walking around cute, little towns. We're going to do that in April for his birthday, on a Saturday.
Bob and I aren't doing much tonight, just relaxing at home. Friday night I'm going to my friend's apartment, and Saturday night I'm meeting another friend for a drink. Next Saturday we are going to Connecticut to spend the day with my sister. I really *hope* the weather is this nice then! We'll be walking around outside in her town & in a bigger town nearby.

Hello there! I'm so very glad that the weekend is once again here. We got slammed this week with snow and freezing rain/ice. Starting tomorrow, the weather is really going to warm up, and I am so excited for that. No more negative or single digit temps, and highs in the 40's each day. It's almost too good to believe! I hope we don't regress at all, and that the it just keeps getting warmer. This Winter was a nightmare, and I am so over it. I can't wait to wear dresses and skirts, and NOT be freezing my butt off!
It's 3 1/2 weeks until we go to Vegas, and it's been on my mind a lot more!
Today Bob's family is coming over for dinner. He's making chili and corn bread. After that I'm meeting my good friend for a drink.
Oh, how I just loveee my new Trashy Diva Geisha Fans Honey dress! It is my first Trashy Diva Honey style dress. I really love the shape of the dress, and the full skirt is just perfect! Of course I also love all the bright colours in the dress; it's so "me"! The shade of blue is my favourite shade of blue, and I love how the top party is orangey red. It's kind of hard to find this shade of red. I sized up to make sure the chest would fit me, and I made the right choice. I can actually zip the dress on my own too, which is rare for a Trashy Diva dress, ha! This is my first Asian print piece of clothing, and I think this print is just gorgeous.I wasn't excited about spending so much money on a dress, but I think this one was worth it. It is the only TD item released since July that I just had to have.
I'm also wearing my brand new cake earrings in the pictures below. I received them this week; they were a custom order from the Etsy shop Scrumptiousdoodle. I have many items from her. I can say these are my new favourite earrings! They are going to match with so much of my wardrobe, too.

Hello there! Well, I think I can speak for all of New Jersey when I say that we have snow/freezing rain/ice/artic temperature fatigue. This Winter has been ridiculous, and we still aren't catching a break. Yesterday when I left work it was freezing rain, and the roads were so bad. I was really scared the entire drive home. I slid a couple of times, luckily not into any cars. But, the roads had clearly barely been touched (and I was on main roads almost the whole time), and I was going about 20 mph the entire ride. Not much scares me more than driving in those conditions. Good thing starting this Sunday, the temperatures are really rising. It's supposed to be in the 40's Sunday and onward. Hope we don't regress after that!
Tonight Bob and I aren't doing too much, just staying in. My mom was going to stop by, but she cancelled because of the weather. Friday night I'm getting a drink with my good friend, and Saturday night we're having Bob's family over for dinner. Bob's going to make chili and corn bread. My mom may be stopping by on Sunday, as well.
