New Hope & Milford

Hello there! We had a great time in New Hope & Milford yesterday. It truly was perfect weather, and there were a ton of people in New Hope. We walked around, went down by the river, got lunch and drinks outside, and went in some shops. I snagged a super cute watermelon purse and a bunny beanie baby, which was on sale for only $2.50.The shop I got the purse from is called 13 Vintage, and the shop owner recognized me from Instagram, which is the first time that's happened locally. (It happened in Vegas, too.) I've been in the shop a few times before; it's my favourite clothing shop there. They carry Hell Bunny, too. After we left New Hope, we went to a brew pub in Milford, called The Ship Inn. Bob's brother and his friend and girlfriend met us there.
The area that New Hope and Milford are in is really beautiful. There are a bunch of small, quaint towns next to each other, with a lot of farmland, the Delaware River, a canal, and mountains. It was a really good day. I love taking day trips when it's nice out.
Since I didn't do the things I normally do on Saturdays, yesterday (cleaning, laundry, etc.), I'll be doing them today, and later on Bob's family will be coming over for cake.
The pictures below are from New Hope and Milford yesterday. I was wearing my Pin Up Girl Clothing bright blue Harley dress. I have it in coral, too. I just adore these dresses, so much. They are very tight in the chest/waist (probably my tighest dresses in those areas), but they are just gorgeous. I wish PUG would come out with more colours soon!

Fatigued

Hello there! Well, I think I can speak for all of New Jersey when I say that we have snow/freezing rain/ice/artic temperature fatigue. This Winter has been ridiculous, and we still aren't catching a break. Yesterday when I left work it was freezing rain, and the roads were so bad. I was really scared the entire drive home. I slid a couple of times, luckily not into any cars. But, the roads had clearly barely been touched (and I was on main roads almost the whole time), and I was going about 20 mph the entire ride. Not much scares me more than driving in those conditions. Good thing starting this Sunday, the temperatures are really rising. It's supposed to be in the 40's Sunday and onward. Hope we don't regress after that!
Tonight Bob and I aren't doing too much, just staying in. My mom was going to stop by, but she cancelled because of the weather. Friday night I'm getting a drink with my good friend, and Saturday night we're having Bob's family over for dinner. Bob's going to make chili and corn bread. My mom may be stopping by on Sunday, as well.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Hell Bunny dress. I have three polka dot Hell Bunny dresses so far. I really like this shade of blue.

Rainbow Brite

Hello there! I'm so glad it's the weekend again, and that it is the last day of January! I just hate January and February because of the winter, I just always want them to fly by.  Tonight Bob and I are going out to dinner at an Irish Pub at a casino about an hour away. We're going to have a couple drinks after dinner at the casino, too. I was going to go up to my parent's house tomorrow afternoon, but it depends on the weather. We're supposed to get snow, again. I won't be watching the Super Bowl; I have zero interest in football.
In the pictures below I am wearing quite a rainbow outfit, which makes me happy, because being colourful just brings me joy. This dress is obviously better suited for spring/summer/fall, and I didn't actually wear this outside of the apartment the day I took these pictures. It's a very thin dress, and it has been absolutely freezing out. I have this dress in a popsicle print as well. I really like the shape of the dress, and think it's quite flattering. The brand is Emily & Fin. They have some really cute prints. Modcloth has a decent selection of the brand.
