Hello there! Bob and I had a nice outing to Bethlehem, PA on Sunday. The weather was simply amazing! I left my jacket in the car, and only wore a cropped cardi over my dress. First we went to the Christmas Market, then we went over to Main Street, and went in some stores there, and also went to the few Christmas stands they had set up. I found a few small items: an ornament, a spatula, some dip mix, and a dish towel. The Christmas Market isn't great. It's something to do, but they don't have much either of us are interested in. They actually barely have any Christmas-y items! It's so drastically different from the Christmas Markets in Germany (I've been there once). But, it was still nice to have a little day trip.
Monday night I went to Panera with my good friend. I actually hadn't seen her in three weeks, which is a lot for us. But, she had moved December 1st, to about 45 minutes away from me. She had been living in the same town as me. We had a lot to catch up on.
Tomorrow night Bob and I are meeting my parents are my great uncle's house to have cake for his birthday. I don't really have plans yet for this weekend, but that's fine with me. Next Wednesday-Friday I'll be seeing my family. I'm sleeping over my parent's on Christmas Eve again.
In the first few pictures below I'm wearing a dress my mom made for me a year ago. If you can't see the print too well, it has desserts all over it, pies, cookies, ice cream, etc. It's very appropriate for the season. The pictures below that were taken when Bob and I went to Bethlehem on Sunday. The last picture is of my new B.A.I.T. Footwear shoes that came today. I had been wanting kelly green BAITs foreverrr, and they finally started making them again! I love them, and can't wait to style them. The saddle shoes are my first pair of saddle shoes, and my mom is actually giving them to me for Christmas.

Hello there! Bob and I aren't doing too much tonight; I'll just be reading, and relaxing and watching "30 Rock". I'm currently reading "Orange Is The New Black". We watched season one on DVD, and loved it. But, we don't have Netflix, so we haven't been able to see season two yet. The book is quite good, but I'm going to finish it before we are able to see another season of the show, so when season two finally comes out on DVD, I'll already know what's going to happen in it, ha.
Saturday morning Bob and I are supposed to be headed up to Connecticut for the day to visit my sister, but now we're not sure we'll still be able to, because we are supposed to get snow on Friday (the first day of Spring)! If Bob has to plow for a long time, he'll be too tired to go up there Saturday. Ugh!
It's officially two weeks until Las Vegas! It's crunchtime now, and I am just so excited!
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress my mom made me a year and a half ago. I love the fun, colourful print. It's a more fitted dress than I usually wear, so I don't feel as comfortable in as I do my dresses with big skirts. But, since I love the print so much, I will of course keep wearing the dress!

Hello there! Today I'm meeting my good friend for lunch at Panera. Other than that, I don't have much on the schedule for today, besides working out. I'll just be relaxing with Bob. I placed my first order yesterday for Christmas gifts! Got a couple of items for my mom and for Bob.
I just have to get through this work week, and then it's a three day work week the following week. Can not wait for that! My family is going to my grandparent's for Thanksgiving, and my sister will be home for it. On Black Friday Bob has to work, but I'll be home, decorating the apartment for Christmas, including our (fake) tree. I can't wait to do that! I already put a few decorations out in the apartment.
In the pictures below I'm wearing the latest dress that my mom made me. The print is pretty busy, but what else is new for me? Ha! It could definitely be a Christmas time dress, but I think I can get away with wearing it year round, because the only "real" Christmas-y items on the dress, are some little gingerbread men. The rest of the items are just general desserts: pie, ice cream, donuts, cake.

Hello there! Today I'm doing the normal Saturday things I do: clean the apartment, laundry, and working out. Bob and I are going out to dinner with his parents and brother in town. After that I think Bob and I are going to the movies to see "Gone Girl". We probably haven't been to the movies in close to a year. We much prefer to watch movies at home, where it's cheaper and less annoying. By less annoying I mean we don't have to deal with people in the theater who can be loud and/or obnoxious.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress my mom made me a year ago. I already had this fabric but with a blue background in a dress from Modcloth, which I love dearly. They also make this fabric with a light yellow background. In my opinion, you can never have too many dresses or skirts with food prints! Last year I wore my Modcloth pie dress to Thanksgiving, and I think it was perfect for that day! I may do it again, ha.

Hello there! Tonight I went to Panera for dinner with my good friend. Then I ran to Kohl's to return something. Saturday Bob and I are going to Connecticut for the day, to visit my sister. I haven't gone since March, and Bob hasn't gone in over a year. On Sunday we are hopefully seeing "Gone Girl." I really wan to see it! I haven't read the book. We have a theater five minutes away from us. Bob and I almost never go to the movies. We much prefer to watch movies at home. But, this movie is not On Demand yet on our TV, and I dont want to wait for months, since I've heard such good things.
The quality in the pictures below isn't too good; it was dark out by the time I picked up this dress from my mom, so we couldn't take pictures outside. So, my mom made this dress! I adore the shape of the dress. I have one other dress she made me in this same shape. I think in the future I will have her make more in this shape, as I prefer it to the other shape I have had her make for me. The other one has a straighter skirt, but I really do prefer a fuller skirt. The fuller skirt one takes another yard of fabric though; that's why I was having her make me the straight skirt one, it's cheaper!
I already had this same exact print as this dress in a Bea & Dot brand skirt I got from Modcloth! I just love the fabric so much, that I wanted it in a dress as well, ha! I know; I'm kind of wacky. It's just hard to find prints this cute & colourful! The best thing about this print is that so many cardigans, belts, jewelry & shoes match with it. I have so many options, ha.

Hello there! Thank God this work week is more than halfway over now. Officially over that hump! I'm not doing too much tonight, just reading and watching TV with Bob. We started watching "Sons of Anarchy" last night on DVD, but I'm not that into it yet. We'll see if I get more into it soon. We had never seen an episode before last night. It's just annoying that there's hardly any TV shows we like on the channels we have, except for "Mad Men" and "Downton Abbey", but those two shows take about a year off inbetween seasons! So annoying. Some of our other favourite shows are "Boardwalk Empire","Game of Thrones", and "Orange is the New Black" but we don't have HBO, so we wait until the seasons are available at the library.
Friday night I'm hanging out with a friend at her place, Saturday night we are going to a work dinner (my work), and Sunday I'm either going to a picnic at Bob's Aunt & Uncle's, or going to a birthday party for my grandmother; I'm still waiting to hear what day her party will be.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress my mom made me last summer. Love these colours paired together, also you can never have enough ice cream dresses!

Hello there! We are so close to Friday now, and a glorious three day weekend, and that makes me oh, so very happy! Tonight Bob made one of my most favourite dishes, pasta with Alfredo sauce and tomatoes and broccoli! We're going to go to Kohl's soon, we have a coupon, plus I still have money left on a gift card I got from my bridal shower. Lately I haven't seen much I like at Kohl's, but we'll see. We are looking in the kitchen/housewares area.
I don't really have plans yet for tomorrow night. Saturday Bob and I are going to Lead East, a huge 1950's festival-type thing. They have a car show and vendors and live music. We've never gone before, and I'm very excited for it! I knew right away what I would wear, ha. I've never really met girls my age who live in this area, who are into "my type" of fashion, so maybe I will meet some on Saturday! And if not meet any, just get to see their outfits.
Sunday we are going to a BBQ at Bob's cousin's house, although it's supposed to storm on Sunday, so I don't know if they will still be having it. And Monday we aren't going to do much. It'll be so nice to have a very relaxing day with my husband!
In the pictures below I'm wearing a dress my mom made me a couple of weeks ago. I had been wanting a yellow dress for so long, and couldn't find one I loved, so now I finally have one! Even though it has plenty of other colours on it too, ha. But, that's just me; a rainbow lady.
I got another pair of the fruit flats I'm wearing in these pictures, and they just arrived. They are a size bigger than I am, and they're used, but it's so hard to find these flats, that I'll take what I can get! The reason I got another pair, is that these shoes are sooo cheap and flimsy, and I know my first pair won't last too much longer.

Hello there! I had quite a stressful day today, I even got a stess headache from it that lasted for hours. I took Advil when I got home, and luckily it's gone now. I hardly ever get headaches. What really made my day was that after work I went and picked up the dress my mom made me, as well as the wedding pictures I ordered! Also, my latest Luxulite brooch arrived today! So, my spirits are lifted a bit. The dress she made me is soooo beautiful! It's my favourite colours; it's mostly pink, orange, and yellow. And the print is of books! Books are one of my favourite things in the world. (I have an English degree!) The dress is big all over on me, but luckily when it's belted you can't tell too much.
I adore my new Luxulite brooch! It's a strawberry. I especially love my fruit brooches from Luxulite. I can't get enough of them!
Tonight Bob is doing some beer-making related stuff at his parent's house. I'm just going to relax and watch TV here at the apartment.
I just can't wait to go away this weekend, and forget about stresses! We are waking up around 7 a.m. tomorrow, which is fine with me. My husband however, is not a morning person! I definitely am. It's very hard for him to wake up on the weekends, and he doesn't use an alarm on the weekends. (I always do.) So, hopefully he doesn't give me too much trouble trying to get him up tomorrow!
