Hello there! This weekend has been another sunny, gorgeous one. It was quite warm yesterday, but luckily not humid! Bob and I were thinking of going to either NYC for the day or to the shore, but opted to just go to dinner in Bethlehem. He hasn't fixed his car yet, so we didn't want to take my car all the way to the shore, since mine is pretty old. I don't like to take it on long trips, just in case something goes wrong. We decided not to go to NYC because it was supposed to be even hotter there, and we thought it would be uncomfortably hot to walk around & take the subway (it's crazy hot down where you wait for the subway!). We may not go to the city until September. We usually go at the end of September for my birthday.
I relaxed for a bit when we got back from Bethlehem, and then met my friend (who I hadn't see in awhile) at the movies at 10:30 to see "Train Wreck". I had never heard Amy Schumer's comedy before. There were some parts that were quite funny, but others that weren't. I thought it was an okay movie, and my friend didn't really like it. I hadn't been to the movies in a longggg time. Bob and I never go anymore, we just occassionally buy movies through "on demand" on our TV. The movie didn't get out until 1:00 a.m.! I haven't been out that late in forever, other than on vacation, ha.
Today's going to be a quiet one. Bob and I are staying at home. He's going to cook and bake for the coming week. Tomorrow is my sister's going away party! I can't believe how fast it came.

Hello there! Today I'm going to clean, do laundry, work out, watch TV/relax, and probably meeting up with my good friend for a drink. I saw her Thursday too, but she wants to go out tonight, as well. Today is her actual birthday, and she will be at a wedding until around 8:00 p.m. It's a pretty low key weekend for me, but I'm happy about that. Almost all weekends this summer we will have plans for at least one day of the weekend.
In the pictures below I'm wearing another new to me Trashy Diva dress that I received this week! I've been having a lot of luck finding TD dresses lately! This dress is a bigger size than I normally wear in TD, it's two sizes bigger than my plaid Annette I wrote about in my last post. It is roomy in the waist, but the belt hides that. It is snug on my bust though, which is usually the case. The cute belt it came with is too big on me too, so I swapped it for this belt. I would still love to find the red and white gingham print TD Trixie dress, but I also love this dress, and glad it has some red and white gingham! There's even more gingham on the back of it. My selection of red dresses has expanded lately, and I'm so glad. I can't have enough of them. I'm often told red is my best colour.

Hello there! Tonight after work I met up with my good friend for dinner. Tomorrow night Bob and I are going to visit my grandmother, and Saturday I'm going to my cousin's baby shower. It's at my parent's house. I'll get to visit my pets, too! Can't wait for that. I'm bringing chocolate oatmeal cookies to the shower. They are one of my all time fav cookies, and I am a cookie monster! They are one of Bob's fav cookies, as well.
We are supposed to have another beautiful weekend. This weather has made me feel so much more content! I needed this sunshine so badly, after being so deprived for so long. The fresh air cirulating in our apartment smells so good, too.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my very favourite prints. I have this print in a dress, too, and a purse. It's so bright & fun! I scored this print from an Etsy shop. I wish I could find more online shops that sell handmade, fun circle skirts with cute patterns/bright colours, and for a reasonable price!
