Hello there! We got more snow yesterday/last night, so Bob is out plowing now. We have been getting weekend freezing rain/snow for probably about five weekends in a row now. I'm going to work out, read, and watch TV today, and then Bob and I are meeting my family for dinner at a restaurant for my grandfather's birthday.
In the pictures below I'm wearing another Modcloth Bea & Dot brand dress. Two posts ago I featured pictures of my Modcloth Bea & Dot pennants dress. This dress is tight in the bust, and you can see the buttons are gaping somewhat, but it wasn't so bad that I wanted to return/exchange it. I can't wait to receive my brooches from the ErstWilder diner line; they're going to match this dress so perfectly!! There's a Bea & Dot dress I'm looking at on eBay, and it's for a good price. I may have to snag it! It's the same size as this dress, and also has buttons and a collar, so I'm sure there will be gaping as well, but hopefully it won't be any tighter in the bust than this one.

Hello there! I'm so glad the weekend is here. It's supposed to snow today, which is really annoying, because yet again Bob will have to go out and salt/plow, probably on Sunday morning. Today I'll be cleaning, doing laundry, running a couple errands, and working out. Bob's going to cook my favourite dinner tonight, tomato tart. (It's very similar to pizza.) We're going out to dinner tomorrow night with my family for my grandfather's 75th birthday. I didn't want to go out out to eat two nights in a row, and also Valentine's Day is so crazy busy at restaurants, it's just not much fun to go out to eat when it's like that. He surprised me with a Bath & Body Works gift card, which is great because I had just run out of my B&BW lotion. They have the best lotion.
I'm SO glad February is half over. I just do not like January or February. I hate how fast time flies, except when it comes to January and February. I always want them to be over right away. They are just so miserable, weather wise. Also, now that we are half way through February, it's a month and a half until we got to Las Vegas!! I've of course been thinking of outfits to bring already. It's going to be such a neat experience to go to Viva Las Vegas, and see thousands of girls with similar style to me. No one around where I live dresses anything like me.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Steady Clothing space print skirt. This is the only item I have of this brand, and I really love it. I think the print is super cute and kitschy.

Hello there! Tonight I'm not doing too much, just staying in with Bob. Friday night I'll be going to a friend's house, and Sunday my family is going to a restaurant for my grandfather's birthday. Other than that, I don't really have upcoming plans.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Modcloth Bea & Dot dress. As soon as I saw this dress last year, I snatched it up. They sold out right away, and never re-stocked it, so it's great that I did get it right away. I love how colourful it is, and I think the pennant print is quite cute and cheerful. It's also work appropriate, even without a cardigan, which is another bonus. I hope Modcloth will be coming out with more fun, bright prints like this soon. They haven't had much like this since last summer.

Hello there! Bob and I are having a quiet day in today. I'm going to work out, and just read and watch TV. I'm excited for "Downton Abbey" tonight! And "Better Call Saul" premieres tonight, as well. Can't wait for that, too. It's the "Breaking Bad" spin-off. I'm sure it won't be as good as "Breaking Bad", but hopefully it's decent.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my Pin Up Girl Clothing harlequin dresses. I have two, and I like my other one (which has brighter colours) better than this one. But, I do still really like this one, and just am obsessed with harlequin prints in general. I got this Betsey Johnson ice cream clutch about a year ago, and I think it is just so darn cute! It's the only Betsey Johnson item I've ever owned, but, it is of course right up my alley. I was excited to discover my lobster necklace matches perfectly with this dress! Sice the lobsters are a dark red, close to a burgundy shade, they don't match with a lot of my dresses which are more bright red.

Hello there! Happy weekend! Last night Bob and I went over my parent's house. It was nice to see them, but also so nice to see the dog and cats! One of the cats is named Lucy, and she's nine years old I believe. So, I lived there for years while she was there. I miss her when I'm not visiting. She's a Maine Coon, which is my very favourite cat breed. She's so fluffy, soft, beautiful, and very smart. (They are the smartest breed.) The other cat is a Maine Coon too, but is small, and doen't look as much like a Coon as Lucy does. She also is afraid of people; she won't ever let you touch her.
I can't wait to have pets, but we won't be having any until we have a house. We are allowed to have cats and dogs in our apartment complex, but, we don't want to spend the money now on them, and also it's not an ideal place for a dog. Unfortunatly, Bob is allergic to cats!
Today I'm cleaning, doing laundry, working out, making cookies, running a couple of errands, and I may meeting my good friend for a drink tonight.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Deadly Dames Haunted Housewife dress from Pin Up Girl Clothing. It was one of my first purchases from PUG, over a year ago. I love the 50's style of it. I really like the cut at the bust and the collar and sleeves. I wish I could find more dresses in this style. PUG has a black one, but of course I can't wear that, ha.

Hello there! We are halfway to spring! It's progress, at least...and it's been noticeably staying light out later, which is also great. Friday night Bob and I are going to my parent's house to visit them and the animals (two cats and one Sheltie). I don't really have plans otherwise for this weekend, but I may get together with my good friend Saturday night.
In the pictures below I'm wearing one of my Trashy Diva Varga dresses. I also have this dress in a light yellow shade. I bought them both while in New Orleans on my honeymoon this past summer. I love the shape of these dresses. And I can make them work appropriate by wearing my bandeau and cropped cardigan/shrug. As I've mentioned before, red dresses are my staple. I don't own any solid black dresses, because as you can probably tell, they just aren't "me"! I've also been told red is my best colour, and I love wearing it!

Hello there! Last night Bob and I went out to eat at an Irish pub at a casino. It was quite good. We've eaten there a few times now. Then we had some drinks at bars in the casino, and gambled a little bit. Bob was having quite good luck. I only tried two slot machines, lost $3.75, and then stopped ha. I really hate losing money, so I always stop after losing just a little bit. Bob was up $95 at one point, but ended up leaving with $72. He's a lot more of a risktaker than I am.
Today I'm not doing too much. I'm working out, reading, watching "Downton Abbey", and I may be going to my parent's for a couple hours, but I'm still deciding that. Tonight Bob's going to have to get ready to plow/salt, and is going to salt at least one of the businesses he takes care of. I feel bad for him, I know how much he hates doing it on the weekends.
Two months from today is our Vegas vacation! We are slowly but surely making progress.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my other Emily & Fin dress. In the blog post I posted yesterday I wearing my rainbow stripe Emily & Fin dress. They're both from Modcloth. Both of the prints are so lovely, and perfect for my aesthetic/style! This print is obviously quite summery ha. I didn't actually wear it outside of the apartment the day I took pictures. It's also quite thin material, so it's not very good for winter.
