Hello there! It's going to be a very hot (90 degrees) & sunny weekend here. Bob is working today. I was going to go to the beach with a friend, but for some reason, I just don't feel like it. Not sure why. I'm going to clean the apartment, do laundry, work out, and get some outside outfit pictures in.
We have gone to pretty much everywhere I wanted to go this summer for day trips. We could go back to some of those places (like New York City, New Hope, etc.), but I don't really want to spend the money, because in September we are going away twice! After that, it'll be awhile before we go on another trip. We will be going away in April (not sure where yet), so the only time we'd go away between September is April is may for one night, somewhere close.
In the pictures below I'm wearing my Hell Bunny scottie dog skirt. It's actually the only animal print I have in my wardrobe! Surprisingly, I have yet to own any cat prints. There is a new Heart of Haute atomic cat print that's available for pre-order now, though, and I do like it. I may order the red skirt...we'll see. This outfit is pretty bastel/white based, so it's definitely paler than most of my outfits. But, that's okay with me. I don't always need to be SUPER bright! I love the pastel pink & blue together. My seahorse necklace and diner brooch match it so well.

Hello there! I am so excited for this three day weekend to arrive. It will just be so nice to have an extra day off. I really hope to get a hair cut this weekend. I've been wanting to get one for awhile now. I tried to make an appointment at my usual place, but the phone number doesn't work. They must have closed, which really stinks. I hate going somewhere new. I am planning on going Saturday morning to Super Cuts in town. I've never been to one before.
I know their prices are good though. I'm not sure yet just how short I'll go, but I really need a change.
Tomorrow night I'm meeting up with my good friend for a drink. I think Saturday night we are going to my parent's for dinner, and Sunday we are going to Bob's aunt and uncle's for a BBQ. Monday I'm just staying home.

Hello there! Tonight I met my good friend for a drink in town, after work. Tomorrow night after work Bob and I are going to Friendly's for dinner. We hardly ever eat out (other than getting slices of pizza or Panera), so it'll be nice to go. Bob is going with his family to West Virginia this weekend. That's where his mother is from, and all (7!) of her sibling still live there, within half an hour of each other. Bob goes every year with his family, for a couple of days. I haven't yet gone with them. I can't take the time off of work, usually. They are leaving Saturday morning, and getting back Monday afternoon.
I'm sooo glad tomorrow is Friday! It was so nice to have a short week.
In the pictures below I'm wearing a Hell Bunny dress. I loveee it paired with my strawberry Luxulite brooch! This was my first Hell Bunny dress, my mom gave it to me for this past Christmas. (I picked it out.) I wasn't sure which size to order. This dress (like a lot of my dresses) is big in the waist, but just fits my chest. Thank God for belts for hiding the fact that a lot of my dresses are big in the waist! It's just so much more flattering to highlight the smallest part of you.
The shoes I'm wearing are from shoebakery.com. I ordered another pair of flats from them, over a month ago. I hope they ship soon! They take awhile to ship, and their website says that as well. Every pair is hand made. It's hard to wait for them to come; they are just sooo adorable!

Hello there! Ahhh I am so glad that it is Friday & that the work week is now over! When I first woke up this morning I thought it was Saturday. That was rough! Tonight Bob and I are meeting my dad and grandmother at Friendly's for dinner. Then we are stopping my grandmother/great uncle's house to see my great uncle. Then I'm going to Target, and then going back to the apartment to have drinks and relax!!
Tomorrow Bob and I are going to spend the day in New Hope! Can't wait for that. We haven't been in a year! That's the longest we've gone without going there, since we started going there together. He first took me there in the very beginning of our relationship, about 5 1/2 years ago. New Hope is such a cute, artsy town. There's a lot of nice little stores and restaurants.
I'm calling this blog post "Minnie Mouse", because that's what Bob calls me when he sees me in this dress, ha! This dress was my first Hell Bunny item! My mom got it me this past Christmas. (I had picked it out.) I loved it, and was hooked from then on, ha. Hell Bunny has so many cute, retro-style pieces. Their clothing material tends to be on the thin side, but that's alright. Their prices are pretty good, too.

Hello there! Ahhh, one more day of work to get through! This work week definitely had its ups and downs. I do feel more comfortable there, in a lot of ways. But, it still can be pretty hectic/stressful at times!I try my hardest to seem calm while I'm there. But, inside it can be tough to feel calm. I just don't want them to see me feeling upset/stressed.
Tonight I'm working out, and relaxing. Next week I already have three nights in a row where I have plans. Tuesday night I'm meeting a couple friends at Panera, Wednesday night trying on my wedding dress after I had alterations done, (They re-scheduled it. I was supposed to go this past Monday.) and Thursday meeting up with some friends for a drink.
The first few pictures below were taken at my bridal shower! (It was almost two weeks ago.) The first picture is of my sister, Brette and me. The second is my mom and us. I love the favors that one of my bridesmaid's made! Pink and orange sprinkles in a cute little jar. (Shown below.) One of my favourite gifts was the rainbow checkered cutting board. (Also shown below.) I'm not even going to use it as a cutting board; it's too cute to! I've just been using it as a decoration. It's on my little side table next to the couch in the living room. I got so much Fiestaware!! And that makes me very happy. It's so beautiful and durable. And the orange is the perfect shade of orange! I got one red piece, too.
I also got a rainbow striped tablecloth which is shown below. I love it! It's so bright; I put it on our dining room table right away.

Hello there! So, we didn't end up going to New Hope yesterday because of the rain. We got pizza for dinner instead, and then went to Applebee's. I was using my ice cream cone wristlet last night, when Bob and I went to Applebee's and Bottle King. A few people complimented me on it, and one cashier at Bottle King even asked to take a picture to show his friend, ha!
Today is another crappy day outside. It's dark and dreary, and supposed to rain more. I think Bob and I are just staying in today. I'm going to work out, read, watch "The Sopranos" and probably "Wolf of Wall Street." And Bob is making a turkey dinner, with stuffing, sweet potatos, and peas. I love all four of those items!
Next Saturday I'm going shopping in Pennsylvania with my mom and aunt at shops that sell Easter decorations, and we are going to an antique center. My mom loves shopping for holiday decorations, and she has SO many. I went with her back in October too, to look for Halloween and Christmas decorations. Then on Sunday my mom and I are going to the bridal store to drop off my dress for alterations. The bridal store is also in Pennsylvania.

Hello there! It's really warmed up the past couple of days, and I love it. It really feels like spring. But, unfortunatly this is just a tease....it's going to be freezing again next week. But, for now it's time to enjoy it, and the bright sunshine. I must take some outside pictures this weekend, too!
I'm going to clean the apartment, do laundry, and work out. And then I'm heading up to my parent's in the afternoon, to try on the other veil my mom made me. (The first one didn't work.) I'm also going to try on another bra with my wedding dress, and pray that it works with it! And tonight Bob and I are going out to eat and for drinks at Brew Works, I'm excited for it. We don't go out to eat much, and also don't go out for drinks much anymore.
It's been an odd week...Bob and I were supposed to meet with my pastor on Thursday, but that got cancelled due to pastor being sick. Then yesterday I was supposed to meet up with two friends, (at different places.) and they both cancelled. Also today, my mom was going to take me to a specialty shop to look for a bra, in case mine doesn't work with the dress. But, she cancelled for that, as well. I'm okay with her cancelling that, because I really wasn't looking forward to going! Looking for bras that fit is stressful enough, let alone with other people there with me. (Whoever would be helping me in the store, and my mom.) I get stressed easily in that type of situation...I don't like when people are focusing so much on me/my body.
But, I am really looking forward to my hair trial next Saturday! I found a hair style online that I really love. So, I'm going to show them the pictures of it, and I'm sure they'll be able to re-create it. It's a similar style to what they did to my hair for when I was a maid of honor in a friend's wedding.
